I had planned to use a work bonus preloaded card to pay for my stay. The card only had $600 on it. My room was $504 but, had a $100 incidental fee that I was not told about prior. I anticipated the card would be accepted and the remaining balance would be charged on another card. I was incorrect. The card declined once so I asked the employee to run the $504 on one card and the incidental fee on another card. She attempted twice and both times my card were declined. I called my cardholder and they explained that the charges shown were for $704 and then $604 & $604. When I asked the employee about it, she denied doing that and would not provide any documentation of the attempted charges. She reassured me that the invoice would be emailed upon check out. It has been 3 days and I still have not received any invoice. Shady employee or a new employee that must be trained adequately. Also the incidental fee should be communicated more before check in.
