I recently stayed at the Maison De Chine Hotel in Chiayi for two nights and was pleasantly surprised by the value offered. I booked one of the cheaper rooms without a window, and let me tell you, it exceeded my expectations. The room was incredibly spacious, featuring a cozy sofa corner, a separate tea-making station, and a cleverly designed layout with a separate toilet, bathroom basin, shower, and bathroom area. This setup provided a level of convenience and comfort that’s hard to find at this price point. Although I mostly used the room for sleeping, it was a great space to retreat to after a day of exploring. The reception team, especially Ken, was fantastic. They were always ready to help, whether it was organizing taxis at a moment’s notice or offering detailed information on how to catch a bus to Alishan. One of the standout amenities was the free laundry room—an absolute lifesaver for someone like me who’s been traveling solo around Taiwan. It’s also worth mentioning the hotel’s excellent location. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the night market, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and enjoy some delicious street food. There’s a cheap and tasty breakfast cafe right across the road and a Family Mart around the corner, where you can conveniently book your HSR tickets. Overall, my stay at Maison De Chine Hotel was wonderful, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Chiayi.

Before booking, I checked through the hotel's official website and various booking platforms. In comparison, Trip is the most cost-effective. The hotel is not bad, but the number of parking spaces is small, so after visiting the night market, there are no parking spaces in the hotel.

a super nice kids hotel. the rooms equip with slides and race car, my toddler is so excited. and there is an indoor playground at hotel lobby as well . breakfast wise not much choice but it comes in set. food is good as well. and hotel is very near to train station. 5mins walk away

The hotel gives us comfortable beds to take a deep sleep, delicious breakfast to eat, and peaceful atmosphere to stay. It’s a place where we would stay next time.

The room is spacious and the bed is really big and very comfortable to lie down on. There are many choices for breakfast, including ********* and Western styles. In addition, there are fruits and desserts, which is a plus. Speaking of supplies, there are small ml packages of herbs collected from the mountains (shower gel, shampoo, facial cleanser, lotion). There is a 7-11 opposite, and there are only a few parking spaces in the hotel, which is quite a test of parking skills. Overall, it's clean and comfortable, and the staff's service is friendly😊.

Located next to the Wenhua night market, and provided all the amenities required for a normal traveller, and the check-in was smooth. The breakfast buffet provided variety of food to fuel up for the day, especially providing great options of vegetarian dishes. Bath salt was also the highlight, giving a moment of relaxation. However, the bath is quite small and only fits for 1 person (not even a tall one), so it was not easy for getting my partner to enjoy it together. And the wash basin looked heavily used like gonna be breaking very soon.

The hotel room is very spacious, the bed is very big, clean and comfortable. If you take the high-speed rail to Chiayi, you can take the BRT bus and get off at Shixian Bade Station. It takes about 5 minutes to walk. If you want to go to Wenhua Road Night Market from the hotel, you can also take the BRT. The bus is very convenient. When you go out of the hotel, turn left and you will find a CNPC gas station and a large 7-11 convenience store. The breakfast in the hotel is simple but sincere, and the room price is reasonable. The hotel's facilities are quite clean, the service staff are friendly, and the surrounding restaurants are very convenient. There is Quanlian near the hotel, and the location is about 15 minutes away from the Cultural Night Market. Will stay again if given the chance.

Convenience stores are far away. In addition, there are not many parking spaces in the hotel. Before entering the parking lot, you need to wait for the hotel to arrange, so you may face the situation of no parking space. Drivers need to consider it. The hotel's soundproofing equipment is ordinary. Breakfast is self-service. The dishes are basic. style. Only 1 room card is provided, which is very inconvenient for people with colleagues to enter and exit. I am not sure if I can ask for one more? Because this time I only stayed for 1 night, the arrival time was relatively late, and I didn't ask for more from the counter!

The bed is soft and hard, and comfortable. There is an iron shelf in the room that is easy to hit and needs special care. The front desk is inconsistent when answering questions, for example: Can you borrow an umbrella? The waitress said no. The waiter said that he could but pay the deposit.
