Our bed linens were wrinkled with a clean flat sheet thrown on top to cover the unchanged sheets. The duvet was old and had a gross stain. We had call and ask for fresh linens. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable, even when folded. There was a standing lamp with a crushed lampshade and damages to the wood on several of the furniture. The maids were loud/yelling up the hall. We paid extra to upgrade to a creek view but the only view we had was of a rooftop. The smoke alarms went off repeatedly throughout the night with no explanation, in our smoke-free room. When my husband called to ask about the smoke alarms, he was probably hung up on. I witnessed staff rudely ignoring patrons, who had approached them with questions in the ******. I also saw a man in a wheelchair who had an accident in a bathroom, and had trouble getting assistance from staff; he was accompanied by a handicapped minor and I felt really bad for them. There was a puddle of urine under the man’s wheelchair And a trail of feces, which must have been stuck to the man’s wheels, because it trailed up the walkway. The next morning when we checked out, the trail of feces and small puddle of urine, we’re still visible on the walkway showing that it had not been cleaned up since the night before. My husband and I stay here all the time and we love the ****** and we will return, but we will not stay here. We probably would have better service and cleaner linens staying at the motel across the street.
