Our group of 20 stayed here around XMAS 2022. It's a decent hotel, comparatively. Some rooms are newer (under construction) and some are older. Almost all the rooms our group stayed had a smell of sewage which I think is common due to poor plumbing in the city. Pros: Rooms are larger and beds are comfy. Views from the terrace are amazing. Breakfast was decent. Kitchen staff, Karim, was awesome. Anas on the front desk was pretty good as well. Staff does their best to accommodate your reasonable request. Iron is available upon request. Hotel is right next to a stream. So you may get a view (and sound) of the stream. WiFi is decent. Hotel has two entrances on two different streets and difference between two entrance is about 100 feet of elevation. Hotel is a out 10 minutes from the main square but it is up and down walking including steep stairs. Heater worked great. Hot water was quite hot and available. Cons: Bathroom smell! If you are lucky enough to have a window, it will reduce the smell. If not, good luck! Bathroom doors are glazed glass and there is gap between doors which might be ok with couples but probably not with families. Quality of work/faucets is not great (falling apart!). Some parts of the hotel are still under construction so you may hear construction noise or notice construction material on terrace. I bought one small water bottle and they charged 10 dirhams - I bought 12 larger size bottles for 36 Dirhams in a store! If you want a mountain view, this a good hotel. If you want to stay closer to the main square and hotels, look for other options (no views).
