Needed a place to stay, in a convenient area. Personel helpful.

I booked at this hotel between 15-19 August 2022 because we were due to go to that hotel with Woods travel, before this was cancelled. Staff were very friendly at reception when we arrived. However, the restaurant didn’t live up to expectations. We booked for Dinner, bed and breakfast. We were offered the same set menu for 4 nights in a row!! Meals took over an hour to arrive, and at breakfast they had run out of Marmalade, took 15 minutes to inform us, and only appeared on our last day. Hotel definitely not 4 star standard, no hotel entertainment at night, decor in hotel was dated, chair in room had a hole in the fabric, room not cleaned properly, no shaving mirror in bathroom, and anti slip mat in bath. No information provided at Reception about how to get out and about, a stand of leaflets would have been nice. Very slow at clearing tables in bar area, general clutter especially in bar area. No table cleaning was visible in bar area and never saw communal areas being cleaned. Staff seemed very young and inexperienced. OverallI don’t recommend anyone visit this hotel, and would suggest that the star rating is downgraded as a matter of urgency.

This hotel was perfect for my trip to see family in Rochester. Very clean, comfortable, and close to strood train station. The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. Will definitely stay again!

This is an excellent hotel, with good facilities, lovely central courtyard, plenty of free parking, and very friendly staff. With Chatham and the Dockyard nearby, the location is excellent. Not certain which category to put this hotel in! It's not luxury but better than budget. The rooms are a little dated and the TVs need upgrading. The shower, again, a little dated. We booked a room for three as our adult son has learning disabilities. He was delighted to find he had a separate bedroom with his own, small TV. The rooms were clean, the hotel tidy, and a very good breakfast was included in the price. Overall, good value for money.

The Ship & Trades provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Chatham will find that the Ship & Trades is a fantastic accommodation choice.With Chatham Railway Station just 4km away and London Southend Airport only 69km away, transportation is very convenient. Seeing Chatham's sights from this hotel is easy with Preserved Blue Crane, Copper Rivet Distillery and The Dockyard Railway all close by.This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Guests of this Chatham hotel can make use of the parking facilities.

Nice hotel which is central to the railway station and the town center. It doesn't look too good on the outside but the inside and the rooms you cannot fault, everything was explained to me when I checked in, I didn't use the bar/cafe due to visiting friends so didn't need to eat there but looking at the menu it did look comprehensive, I would definitly stay there again when visiting the area.

Looking at some of these reviews it would put you off staying. HOWEVER it done us the turn. Room was clean, walls were a bit thin but that's not a problem. Bed was really comfy and the pillows were soft. Bathroom was dated but it was clean. I've stayed in far worse places and it done the trick for the night. Might be different at weekends but can't say we had any problems at all. Staff were welcoming as well

We stayed at Tudor Park hotel in 4 days during eastern holiday 2022. Our main activity was playing golf. We liked the hotel, the golf course and the cosy surroundings in Bearsted. There is much positive to wright about. The golf course was perfect to play at our mid-range handicap, we liked the SPA and leisure facilities and not to forget: Fantastic nice weather the whole time! Can anything improve? Yes. 1. The hotel has to find a solution to avoid carrying golf bags to the room every day. It should offer a storage room nearby the pro-shop. 2. Very friendly service at the grill restaurant, but the management should follow up the quality and routines on attention to the dinner guests. It's not OK to wait 15 minutes to get water refill and finally leave the table to find a waitress. 3. The bartender competence was not acceptable. When a bartender don't know what a standard Gin&Tonic is... 4. The hotel room was nice and clean. But very small and we missed a mini-bar. Our room location was terrible. (138) Miles and miles with small corridors and no outdoor facilities. Not even a chair. Again - we have given a high overall rating, we can absolutely recommend the hotel and the golf course, and we will most probably come back!
