Stayed here for 2 nights left for 2 days and came back for another night. Very friendly staff clean rooms. Minor issues long hair on bathroom wall on first stay and room atmosphere was a little on the musty side on the last room. Typical great breakfast served with clean eating area.

I come to Charlotte once, maybe twice a year for just a weekend to get away. I love this area where the hotel is located, there are so many shops & restaurants both of which are pretty easy to get to. All of the staff was super friendly, our room was pretty clean, checkin/out was easy to do. This is my second stay at this hotel, I remember the first stay the hotel being super clean and new looking, however on this second trip the ”new” look was not there.. the rooms are starting to look a bit dated, and some more cleaning may be needed throughout the hotel. But nonetheless the hotel overall was decent..

Great! I will come to live next time. I think the facilities of this hotel are very new, the room is clean, the sound insulation effect is also good, can sleep peacefully for one night. The breakfast on the second day was also great, full and very satisfied.

The room we had was excellent but it was given to us as an apology for the problems we had when originally checking in. Check in is at 3:00 pm, but they were not ready for people at that time. After giving them all my information, I was told to go away and come back in about an hour. We waited in the lobby and in about 15 minutes they were handing out keys to others coming in. I went back to the counter and was told that I had to give them all my information again. I explained what happened previously and that I was told to come back much later and they apologized for the inconvenience since as a Platinum member, they should have had our room ready and in fact, when she checked, it had been ready. So we got a better upgrade than usual and we were thankful for that. But the real problem here is with PARKING. What you may not know and they don’t tell you at check-in, is that their parking lot is managed by an outside company and you are required to go online or use an App to pay for parking, in the Holiday Inn Express lot. It’s $25 plus a $4 administration fee and when you don’t sign up, they leave you a parking ticket to pay. Since it is a Holiday Inn Express, I was not looking for a sign that said parking was a separate bill. If you arrive late at night, you wouldn’t notice the signs. It’s customary for the hotel itself to charge you for parking and not have their own parking lot run by an outside organization. I got a ticket so paid it when I got home.
