Windward Passage Hotel

Was placed in a easy location to get to and leave from. It has numerous shopping areas and restaurants

Hotel was aight lil out dated but all in all was okay. Definitely close to a lot of activity though.

great spot downtown . we stayed one night waiting for friends to join us on the ferry in the morning. the staff was friendly and helped us with out bags . the security guard was a big help holding our stuff

This property is very convenient to the ferry and the airport, but it needs to have some renovations done. Age is showing. The area around it looks a little dodgy, but not clear if that is true or not. Did find a lovely Spanish restaurant a few blocks away.

Property needs a refresh. Good place just needs to be spruced up. Staff is excellent....very good service. And good location.

THe hotel needs complete renovation...bar totally obsolete...room furniture takes you back to the 1950's...pool is dirty...pink neon lights in the building façade are just too kinky...

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone! The website states this is a luxury hotel , this hotel is far from luxury! Very outdated and dirty. Once I arrived ,the first thing I noticed was how dirty the walls were and the wall paper near the elevator pealing. The furniture is rundown and dirty in the lobby , pool area & room. I was greeted by the nice lobby staff/security. As I entered the room I was highly unimpressed the floors were sticky, room was dusty & the tub/shower had hair in it. The room cleaner didn’t speak English so speaking to her was unless. We arrived on a Monday and noticed the restaurant and bar is only open on Tuesday-Sunday. So , I planned to relax by the pool and eat at the hotel restaurant only to be told they weren’t open on Tuesday and to try back Wednesday (sn: the security offered some great local suggestions) when the flyer in the elevator clearly says open. On Wednesday I notice the house cleaner and chief sitting outside and asked what was being served for dinner only to be met with the chief being rude. I guess I was disturbing him. However , I really wanted to try the food which was pretty tasty . I come to ST. Thomas yearly , I will never stay at the Windward again. If I could rate my experience here it would be a -10. Run the opposite way!

Restaurant hours were non-existent. Bar area had competing sound of loud televisions and bose-speakers blasting bar-music, so loud that even the bartender had to yell to be heard and conversation was impossible. Room safe was non-functional. Room 409.

they didnt check me in ! they said hotel was full , this is what happened after a 18 hours airplane trip !
