I guess I should have expected this to be a party-focused hotel, but I was hoping we could have the option of being insulated from the partying if we so chose... not so much. Onsite restaurants and bar are lively an noisy with shows going on all the time. Huge patio/terrace in front of the hotel which seems to gather a large proportion of the town for apres-ski. Rooms are not well insulated from the noise outside, so beware if you want to call it an early night, you may not have the option to. Our room (small but expected) was extremely humid and we couldn't get rid of the humidity. It opened on the slopes... and a slopeside bar which played music pretty loud, thankfully not late. The pool is cool, the gym is nice, you have to make reservations for the spa. Shower worked well, so did wifi. Double bed is in fact two single beds side-by-side which tend to drift apart. I guess I wasn't totally in the target market for this specific hotel, but I can see why people less focused on skiing and more focused on partying would love it.
Definite pros: ticket retrieval machine and ski shop in the hotel itself. Very close (walking distance) from the center of town including shuttle stops to the various stations.
