Welcome to our cute cottage, just a 2 minute walk to a beautiful small community lakefront. Our private Adirondack themed mini-golf course is a really unique feature. The house is comfortable and rustic and the community is friendly and picturesque. There is a wood stove and an outdoor fire pit. This place feels like a summer camp, with amazing neighbors and an inn/tavern/restaurant just steps away. The playground adjacent to the mini-golf course is also yours.The lake is clean and serene, with a little island in the middle. The mini-golf course is amazing and you have it all to yourself. The walk to the lake is a very short and somewhat steep path through the woods. There are a couple of freestanding vented AC units, baseboard heat, and a Fisher wood stove for temperature control. The internet is good but phone service is hit or miss. You will have no phone service for 20 minutes before approaching the property, so make sure you have the directions on hand. There is a dresser in the master bedroom on the main floor, with a full bath adjacent. Upstairs there is a loft with two twin beds, a half-bath, and a separate queen bedroom with a closet. The tavern can sometimes get a little loud on weekend nights but closing the windows takes care of it. Two are located on the corner of the cabin pointing towards the garage. One is outside on the side of the house facing the propane tank fill station. The Snowshoe Hare (#19) is a cozy, rustic 2 bedroom cabin that offers all of the comforts and features of home. We are set here under the pine trees in the Adirondack Mountains, on the west side of Lake George, situated on the family mini-resort known as the Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge. Complete with full kitchen, full bathroom, living room, dining area, screened porch, deck, private bonfire pit, charcoal BBQ grill, flat screen TV, and Free WiFi. Quietly and efficiently heat and A/C with a new heat pump mini split unit. One bedroom features a queen hickory log bed, the other, a queen hickory log bed and a twin bunk bed as well. Sleeps up to 6 in beds. The living room sofa includes a "sleeper" option. While we never recommend even new sofa beds (which this one is!) for adults seeking a very comfy bed, they are often perfect for teens and kids. Please let us know if you plan to bring a 7th guest. The cabin is part of our larger resort and guests have access to the heated pool, lounge & guest laundry. Enjoy horseshoes, shuffleboard, ping-pong, pool, basketball & games. We also have a large gas BBQ grill at the pool area.The Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge features 33 accommodations, and we are pleased to host families, groups, teams, and friends - ask about our other available cabins!. The property is perfect for events such as family reunions and celebrations. While many of our cabins have similar features, each have special features that make them unique. We are not on the lake, but public beach access is a short drive away. If you are brining a boat or jet ski and looking for dock space, please ask us - we may be able to help at one of our other locations! There are beautiful hiking and biking trails just minutes away. During the summer season, our property is served by the Lake George Trolley, carrying passengers to destinations between Lake George Village and Bolton Landing.We are 10 minutes to Six Flags Great Escape and Adirondack Extreme Adventure tree & ropes course, 1 minute from Saddle Up horse back riding, 7 minutes to the Million Dollar Beach, and midway between the villages of Lake George & Bolton Landing with shops, restaurants, Fort William Hendry, nightlife, entertainment, mini golf, go carts and much more. On the lake enjoy: boat, jet ski, or kayak rentals, parasailing, water skiing, scuba and more. A short ride to Natural Stone Bridges and Caves, Fort Ticonderoga and Crowne Point Bridge.
