This property is located in the heart of Alta in a quiet wooded setting. It is a great base for hiking, fishing and skiing in the Tahoe basin. It is 30 minutes from Boreal Ski resort and 45 min from Truckee. We have a huge deck with a BBQ, great for relaxing while having a cup of coffee, or just visiting with family and friends. Plenty of room around the property for the kids and a fire pit to enjoy at night. There is also access to a community pool in Dutch Flat 5 minutes away. This cabin was built in 2010 as my parents summer home and has all the comfort and conveniences. Owners live on site in the separate main house. There is a large office space over the 2-car garage, a small sun room and a small South-facing deck, and an extensive back deck/patio with several seating pods and 2 large barbecue grills which provides terrific outdoor living in summer. The deck/patio backs up to open forest, allowing for significant hiking options right from the back yard.
