The patio area is equipped with table and chairs that overlooks the lake and is partially covered for when you want a little shade or if it's raining. There is also a fire pit on the patio which is great for making smores after a long day exploring Douglas Lake. There is a charcoal grill, for your use. Master bedroom has access to a large deck overlooking Douglas lake. There is a boat ramp on-site for those who wish to bring their own boat. There is also a private dock.Douglas Lake is a fluctuating lake.Its levels are controlled by the Tennessee Valley Authority. The typical off season runs from September thru Mid-April.
