The cabin has a kitchen with electric range, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. Dishes, utensils, pots and pans are provided. There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a double bed. The sofa in the living room opens up as a double bed also. Sheets and towels are provided. The cabin has a separate building that houses a shower. This pet friendly cabin is small with simple construction but priced accordingly. Located towards the front of our campground by RT 31 it’s easy to get to. This is our pet friendly cabin. The river is within 50 feet providing good trout fishing in the early season and other species throughout the year.The queen bed is right inside the front door and the bunks are in the side room beside the bathroom. Bathroom and small bedroom have curtains for doors to allow easy movement in the tight area.The spaceThe whole cabin is yours. You’re welcome to walk around the campground or along the river. The fire pit is located in the lot by the dumpster and picnic table. Please do not make a fire near the cabin. If the wind blows hard it will blow sparks into or under the cabin.Guest accessYou are welcome to go for a walk around the campground or along the river. You can make a fire at the fishing hole but please do not leave it unattended.Other things to noteJust drive slowly in and out of the driveway. This cozy, but roomy, two story, all woodinterior, 2300 square foot cabin features 4bedrooms (2 on the main floor and 2 on the second floor), 3 full baths (2 on the main floor and 1 on the second floor), loft area (includes a full size bed and 2 single sofa sleepers), laundry room, kitchen/great room, 2 large porches with table and chairs. We use all white bedding and "My Pillows" on the beds.The spacious kitchen includes a largetable and chairs seating 8 + guests, stovew/ oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezerw/ icemaker, dishwasher, toaster, handmixer, tea-pot, Keurig coffee maker(including complimentary K-cups, cream &sugar), 12 cup Krups drip brew coffee maker, basic cookware, and place settingsfor 10+ guests. In the yard off the back porch is a designated area for a campfire including a large fire ring with a grate for grilling. Grilling tools are kept in the kitchen pantry. When you stay here you will have access to our property for a nice walk, fishing or kayaking in the river, a nice relaxing campfire or just exploring the countryside. This cabin is located towards the front of our campground by the road. You will have a small efficiency kitchen and two queen beds. You’ll have a short drive to Shawnee Park, downtown Bedford shopping and several restaurants.The spaceYou can use the whole lot as well as walk or bike the campground. Fire pit in the backyard and wood available at our office. The bedrooms have curtain doorways and the bedroom walls do not reach the ceiling. This allows for heat and cooling circulation. Bathroom has shower, sink, and handicap toilet. The floors are wood but slightly uneven in places since it's an older cabin. The kitchen is small and simple with microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge and sink. This rustic, well appointed treehouse rises into the trees, suspended on two huge trees and supported by posts. It is accessed by 14 easy steps. It includes a full kitchen, a living and dining area, a full bathroom, a private sleeping loft, and a huge deck overlooking the river below, just a stone's throw away. A second deck, below the treehouse and out of the weather if it rains, features a 4 person hot tub/spa, comfy seating and a dining table. A few steps from that deck will take you to the firepit, great for those hot dog roasts and staying warm on the chilly nights. Another few steps is the river, great for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. The inside of the treehouse is warmly paneled in real wood from the property and furnished with a leather sectional, complete with queen sleeper inside. Custom built counter tops and furniture adorn the interior. Steps access the loft where a queen bed awaits. Lots of windows and ventilation keep it light and airy. Both heat and air conditioning are provided and a dedicated WIFI and TV for streaming are in place.The river right in front of the treehouse features a natural river pool with both shallow and deep water. Just downstream of this river pool there is shallow moving water, which is great for sitting on rocks, letting the current flow past you. The sounds of the river can be heard from both decks and just across the river is a 12 mile bike trail and a 2600 acre State Game Land. Completely undeveloped Kimber Mountain rises 1000 feet above the river and this is the view from the deck. Wildlife abounds with sightings of bald eagles, great blue herons, geese, deer, squirrels and much more.
