Club Hotel Solaris

We stayed here for our biggest school ski trip ever. With over 100 people attending, the staff at the hotel were so accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious with all rooms having 3-4 single beds. We were even given an extra room at no additional cost which allowed us to overcome some issues with assigning students to rooms. We were also able to check out after our final day of skiing, making our last day very easy. The staff spoke a good level of English, which made everything a lot easier for our staff and students. We had activities planned almost every evening and the Hotel were happy for us to come and go as we pleased, even letting us hand in all of our keys to avoid anyone losing them! There is a function room that we used for a party and lots of shops a short walk away, including a Spar, ice cream parlour (strongly recommend), and some Pizza restaurants. The food was good with 3 courses every meal. We were also offered extra of each course which really helped those students that are picky with their food. Overall, we have had a really positive stay and would highly recommend to anyone that is visiting the area, especially large groups or schools. The hotel is worth the three stars but the staff made the experience even better.

Food is horrible, given raw food, made me throw up 5 times in one day, portion sizes are terrible, no vegetables or anything. I got mashed potatoes, and i definetly do not recommend. The rooms are ok but the bathroom doesn't have a lock and the shower has both poor water pressure and the temperature isn't great. The shower head stand was also broken (it didn't actually fit the shower head in it). The sockets in the room are basically broken. WiFi is horrendous, lasts for about 2 seconds, only on bottom floor. I've been to a bad hotel but this is just on another level, wish I could give 0 stars. Rating is misleading, do not recommend.

I had a wonderful experience at Solaris Hotel. I travelled with my group of friends. We received a warm welcome upon arrival , we stayed in nice and warm rooms. The food is very good and the restaurant staff very pleasant and friendly. We will come back next year.

Dirty, run down hotel. Food was horrendous. Couldn’t cater for special dietary requirements at all! Paid for full board and despite hotel being told about dietary needs & them assuring they could cater for, they couldn’t. Had to go to shops to buy own food. Several of our group were sick & had diarrhoea after eating the food as well. Staff were rude. Doors were sticking & not working. No privacy in bathroom as door had no lock and couldn’t be closed properly. Worst hotel ever stayed in.

For starters, there is no privacy or space in the rooms, there is no lock on the bathroom door and the beds are only a couple of inches away from each other. The food is awful and gave many people in my group a sickness and there was excessive vomiting. The lifts nearby are often shut and the ski shop owners are extremely unfriendly 100% do not recommend

As a coach of the national team, I can say that after a day of competition, all I wanted to happen was the atmosphere of this hotel where the staff managed to feed us with energy every day. Thank you!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel la settimana di ferragosto, ci siamo trovati molto bene. L'hotel è un po' vintage ma molto curato,la pulizia è impeccabile , il cibo è buono e offre tutti i servizi necessari A piedi raggiungi in 5 minuti il centro del paese,un borgo fiorito e in circa 10 minuti raggiungi i sentieri. In auto puoi raggiungere facilmente la valle argentera e la seggiovia per sportina ma si arriva facilmente anche a cittadine molto carine come Claviere, Sestriere e briancon. Con mezz'ora di strada sei già in Francia. Senza dubbio dobbiamo fare i nostri complimenti a tutto lo staff Francesco, Matteo, Codruta e Adela che ogni giorno erano in sala da pranzo, ma anche a tutto il personale dell'hotel più nascosto.

Per la prima volta abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana in questo hotel ed è stavo veramente un piacere soggiornare in quanto a partire dalla posizione a quattro passi dal centro e dai percorsi di trekking, alla cortesia del personale de ricevimento e della sala, alla pulizia delle camere, al servizio e alla cucina, sono stati tutti impeccabili. Complimenti a tutto il team, venite senza esitare a soggiornare vi sentirete veramente a casa…

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel in un viaggio di gruppo. Camere spaziose e personale gentile, cucina nella media. Nota di merito la scrivo ad uno dei direttori Alberto sempre gentile e disponibile e sopratutto del posto per poterci consigliare al meglio sulle varie attrazioni della Valle. Purtroppo ormai troppo spesso il personale Degli hotel arriva da fuori e non sanno dirti nulla. In questo caso appunto fondamentale la sua presenza.
