Having read the previous reviews, I must say, we had a vastly different and positive experience! We found the rooms to be spotless, if you put the green maid sign on, your room was seen to, if it wasn’t, you were left alone as requested, fridges were topped up daily when green sign on, towels exchanged and bedding made. The bar staff and dining staff were exceptional, we honestly can not thank them enough for the attentiveness and helpfulness they demonstrated, always happy to chat with you and ask how you are, always working hard and always happy to help you. Of course the food gets repetitive, it’s a hotel, of course it’s not predominantly “English food” you’re in Turkey! The fresh salad is amazing, yes I will admit the drinks machines aren’t always turned on but there is always water to hand and some beverage available. And yes, the flys can be bothersome but the cleanliness of the hotel is great! We saw the staff deep cleaning EVERYNIGHT! The hotel isn’t that hard to navigate either! The overall cleanliness of the hotel is very good, yes toilets by the pool can get a bit smelly and wet but they are cleaned every night. The pools are spot on, slides are only on at certain times but there are plenty to choose from for kids and adults. There is one slide not available to children which isn’t a bad thing as you don’t have many in the queue! Only thing missing is a football pitch of some kind. I will agree with some of the other reviews, there isn’t a great deal around the area… the taxi to the market is 12 euros, the market is huge, make sure you barter as you will always be “special first customer”. There isn’t anywhere that is in walking distance but if you did your research, you knew this already. Overall we really enjoyed the stay, 11 nights all inclusive with 2 nights in the restaurant, we honestly believe it is the bar staff and kitchen staff that help make this place as good as it is 10/10 for those guys. Best tip I could give is to learn a little bit of Turkish, it really does go a long way, also, take Euros or Sterling. Lira is pretty much dead out there now.
