We arrived at Costa Verde late on Sunday 10th July after a long 2 hour transfer, coach was air conditioned so that was lovely. Travelling with Jet2. We are currently half way through our week away. ALL INCLUSIVE it’s not, certain popular drinks are not free, the alcohol list is very limited. Bottles of water are not free either paying €2.50 for 1 lite. Water is free around the pool at the Bar but the cups are pathetically small. Room was clean & bed is a little hard but it’s ok, I had to ask for an extra pillow which was sent up straight away. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room, no mini bar, the hair dryer & towels are not fit for purpose & the air conditioning is weak at best so the room takes 2 hours to cook down. The shower is fantastic with great pressure & plenty of hot water. There is no plug by the large mirror in the room. Do you have to use the bathroom plug & mirror. Staff are very friendly & helpful, there is the odd Bartender that is rude & clearly hates his job. The pools are divine, clean & warm. Aqua aerobics is hilarious & the instructor is brilliant, clearly loving life. It is very very loud around the pool with speakers blaring out music all day, not relaxing but good fun. At 12.30 lunch is served & people who choose to leave their towels on their subbed come back to them being removed & put in a pile nearby, this allows new people coming to the pool a great choice of empty loungers, which makes a nice change. However if u stay by the pool & not eat lunch you can leave your towels. Loungers are comfortable & there are plenty of umbrellas. Food is ok plenty of selection & the waiters are lovely providing plenty of water & wine, nothing is prepared fresh for you apart from the odd Lamb chop, salads are good, although there is no tomatoes or cucumber. I know this review may sound negative but it is a nice place to stay and we all feel very relaxed here. Beach was very disappointing we only lasted 10 mins, sand is harsh & gravely dark in colour, shuttle bus was quick & on time. Not much in the way of faculties so we came back to the pool. Off to the local town tomorrow so I will update at the end of the week

I thought the hotel was very nice and well maintained. I visited in May so some of the facilities such as the Aquapark, archery and the additional restaurants were not yet open. It was my first experience of an all-inclusive holiday and I thought it was good value for money. The food in the restaurant was excellent ands you had your own allocated table for the duration of your stay. The room was of a good size and very clean and the housekeeping staff visited every day and were thorough. The room could probably do with a refresh though. The pools were lovely with plenty of supply of sun loungers and parasols. Entertainment was provided for children every day too. Every evening entertainment was laid on but I found the three principal leaders a bit much myself. I found the staff very friendly, attentive and helpful but would give special mention to Mario in the main bar who was exceptional. All in all I enjoyed my visit.

Stay for professional reasons. Reservation process (by email) was tedious as personel hardly speaks any english and replies are incomplete. The hotel is far away from everything. The beach can only be reached by a shuttle as the Hotel is separeted from the sea by highway and a another, very busy fast lane. Impossible to sleep with open windows due to the constant highway noise. On Friday evening I got a taste of what must happen daily in summer: very loud banging music with a yelling DJ until midnight which made sleeping, even with closed windows + earplugs impossible. Rooms are of decent size and recently redone in wood and light beige. Bed is on the harder side but ok. However, the hotel provides only a thin bedsheet to cover and no warm blanket. With outside temperatures of 10° and the heater not working, it’s definitely not enough. Breakfast is of very low quality, only sugary food (white bread, cakes, biscuits, sugary cereals), some overcooked vegetables, rotten tomatoes and no fruits. Coffee comes from a cheap instant machine so no real coffee in an italian hotel! No room service available and TV channels only in italian, russian, polish and arabic. Guests were huge groups of retired Germans - very noisy when drunk. Absolutely not to recommend!

FAITES VOTRE PROPRE AVIS ! Ressenti général très bon, nous y avons trouvé un VRAI all inclusive contrairement à ce que nous avions pu lire avant de partir. (Pour en avoir fait plusieurs, AI tout à fait convenable) CHAMBRE: correcte, tout ce qu’il faut, rangement, balcon, propre, ménage tout les jours. REPAS: effectivement pas un immense choix mais tout est vraiment très bon et variés, en une semaine nous n’avons eu que 2 fois à peu près la même chose mais sinon ça varie. Ceux qui se plaignent qu’il y a des pâtes tout les jours, n’allez pas en Italie 😂 PISCINE: les deux piscines sont très bien, le cadre est magnifique en revanche elle est froide ! Pas très gênant vu le soleil mais c’est à savoir, elle n’est pas chauffée. ANIMATION: les animateurs proposent des shows tout les soirs, activités au bord de la piscine, sur la plage etc En plus d’être doués ils sont très gentils! ALL INCLUSIVE: énormément de boissons comprises dans le AI, il n’y a pas tout tout les cocktails mais vous trouverez forcément votre bonheur dans ce qui est inclus. Soft, boissons chaudes et eau aussi évidemment. L’accès au parc aquatique est inclus dans le AI ainsi que l’accès aux différents restaurants de l’hôtel. TRANSPORT: des navettes pour Cefalu sont proposées assez régulièrement à un petit prix, également pour Palerme, les navettes pour la plage sont gratuites et très régulières. LE + : l’accès gratuit à la plage privée de l’hôtel, transat et parasol, activités sur la plage et bar qui proposent les mêmes prestations qu’à l’hôtel ! Un vrai + digne d’un all inclusive. LE - : l’eau n’est pas potable et est vraiment 🤮 dans la douche, les lavabos et dans la piscine. C’est vraiment le seul bémol.

The reviews are mixed and I think it depends on your needs and what you are either willing to tolerate or what all inclusive holidays you have had before. There are positives about this hotel. 1)It’s clean, all areas. 2)The entertainment team work hard you see them all day in different roles and then in the evening. 3) staff are friendly across the hotel, there is an exception to this, the reception staff are unhelpful and can be rude. 4) plenty of sun loungers 5) views are good 6) free bus the beach. 7) the food choices at the buffet where plentiful. 8) bus to Cefalù is worth the trip, beach lovely, place pretty lots of little restaurants. I wouldn’t say all of these are negatives but some are annoying and like I said depends what you are used too. It’s not all inclusive, the drinks menu is very restrictive and served in tiny plastic cups. Snacks are served at set times 1030-1130 160-1700 they are also restricted to muffins and toasties, there is no ice cream unless you pay for it. Charge your wristband with cash for all the extras and anything left on the wristband is non-refundable. The entertainment staff are great, little English is spoken not an issue for us. The most annoying for me, the hotel is not intuitive, you have to scan a wristband order a drink get a ticket hand the ticket to sometimes the same person and they pour your drink, it’s time consuming and wasteful. You should only need to scan the wristband if you are purchasing. You are restricted to ordering drinks to the amount of people in your room, so 1 person can’t order drinks for a table. Water….. no water taps or fountains, tiny plastic cups available if you go and scan your wristband or purchase bottles. No water in the rooms. No showers available if you are leaving late. In all it could just be better

Not very often I write reviews but I felt the need to write a review on this hotel as I’d been reading them frantically before we went on holiday and I was worried after reading the majority of them!! Me, my husband and our 2 children spent a week full board here at the end of May and we had a fantastic time. Around 2.5 hours transfer time from Catania airport but we knew this when booking. Rooms are basic but clean - we only had a shower in our room and the temperature was temperamental but apart from that the room was spacious and was cleaned daily. Hairdryer isn’t good so would take one if you need it. Towels are thin but they are that microfibre material so are good for drying. Entertainment team were fantastic. We joined in with the water aerobics, yoga and cooking class during the day and my kids enjoyed the mini disco and entertainment on a night. Food was great - I’d read a review saying it was all processed food and that wasn’t the case at all. Our little one is fussy but the restaurant staff were happy enough to do him some plain pasta or French fries when I asked. We went full board and at lunch and evening meal there was always a bottle of water and a bottle of wine on the table. The water park wasn’t open but we’d already read that before we booked. There’s plenty of sun loungers and never once did we struggle to get a lounger even when we didn’t go down to the pool til 11. We did get the bus to cefalu and had a lovely day out. Would definitely recommend doing that. Return bus is only €3.80 each and we also got the free bus to the beach one day aswell. Very pebbly so I would recommend water shoes but the kids enjoyed themselves. All in all a fantastic holiday where we’ve made memories to last us a lifetime. We would definitely return!!

Best Hotel I've been to in a long time! All-inclusive and a great getaway for the family. Best time as the season was coming to end so we missed the crowds it was awesome! Staff were amazing and the food and entertainment was great! I would highly recommend this to anyone with kids. The local beaches are good too. Weather was a gorgeous 24-30 degrees most day with one half day of light rain. It was epic
