Beautiful hotel, with an amazing breakfast buffet and very friendly staff.

The hotel is in a good location, slightly out of the way but near enough to everything to walk - and I appreciated the long up-hills to work of some of the food and drink consumed! The interior communal areas are very nicely decorated. Our room on the top, 3rd floor was fine. This is were I dropped a star because it was a small attic room, not much space to move around, and we were there for 5 days and storage was limited and awkward. The balcony was nice ( the view less so, apart from the sunset, but that's out of the hotel's hands). The one full length mirror is in the shower cubicle so not helpful when 2 people are getting ready; same with the only other face mirror which also gets steamed up in the bathroom and have to therefor wait to use. Maybe could provide more than one coffee pod per person. However, room service was fabulous, and nice to have slippers and bathrobes provided along with towels. The staff were faultless. The poor girls in the morning seemed to be doing everything, hotel admin, rushing to do breakfast duty and cok eggs, answering phone, back to cooking when more guests arrived - and they were always cheery and helpful without fail. The breakfast provision was good, especially with cooked eggs, and sometimes additional option of pancakes. All staff were faultless polite. The vegan meal in the restaurant was certainly to my taste but limited choices perhaps meant there wasn't enough for everyone. My food was delicious though, and beautifully presented. Again wait staff faultless.

This was a cute little hotel. The room itself was nice with a lovely balcony. Could have used a fan or some way to cool it down as it was quite warm in the afternoon! it's a nice little walk to the center of Porto, and far enough away to be mostly quiet at night! Best of both worlds. The staff was lovely. Very helpful and understanding. The vegan restaurant on site is amazing! Would have eaten there several more times if there weren't so many vegan options around Porto. That said, the food was, without a doubt, the best I had on my trip.

Location was perfect, far enough away from the busy city centre but still convenient for cool bars, restaurants etc. Our room was perfect, beautiful decor, very comfortable bed and private access to the gorgeous garden. Staff couldn't be more helpful with advice of where to visit in and around Porto. Sara in particular was delightful - so friendly, nothing was too much trouble for her and she made the most delicious omelettes in the morning! The restaurant food was amazing, we ate there twice during our stay for dinner. Will definitely stay here again when we visit Porto.

We found the entrance way & communal areas of the hotel tired looking & uninviting. Our room was the biggest disappointment; stained carpet, curtains hanging off the rail, scruffy slippers, dirty balcony, a tiny shower inside what felt like a cupboard, broken kettle. The list goes on. We emailed the hotel asking for a room change & we were given a curt response saying there were no rooms available. They changed the slippers for some slightly less worn ones the next day & attempted to fix the curtain but it remained broken and the room & the responses continued to disappoint. We gave the hotel ample opportunities before writing a public review to respond and rectify the situation but our last email remains unanswered. They took full payment on booking, and it seems that that is where their interest ends. Such a shame because Porto is beautiful & the photographs of this hotel seem like it’s a lovely place to stay. Do not recommend.

Amazing, cozy hotel with a very high quality feel. Great breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries, tasty eggs and high quality basics. Very very clean and the staff is the nicest ever - period. We would one hundred percent come again and wholeheartedly recommend it. The restaurant is vegan friendly and they always take care to consider any allergies or anything else. They have a phone in the room where you can call or even text the reception with anything you need. The beds were comfortable and the shower spacious and very clean! P.s.: The door and glass panel to the bathroom are see through so maybe best for partners.
