Marigot Palms Luxury Guesthouse

I'm sorry it has taken me a long time to write a review, we stayed in July 2023. It was our honeymoon and we were staying here for the first 2 days. I will split this into 2 - the hotel/accomodation is spot on. The view is sensational. I don't think you will ever see anything better. We were picked up from the airport and delivered by the hotel team which was amazing, and we were taken to a lovely room, basic but perfect for our needs. We were left some bubbles to celebrate with which was a lovely touch! Walked out the door and the pool was right there, walk around and there are mangos falling from the trees, it is just paradise in a place. I walked to the harbour area and it is fine to walk, I would say the walk up made for heavy breathing but manageable, and well worth doing. Overall we will 100% be going back just based on the hotel and location itself. The second part is that the owners went so far above and beyond I can never express my gratitude fully. My wife got sick and they were so accommodating, they stopped their breakfast and drove all the way to the hospital, stayed with us all day, drove us home, and even drove us to another place to get home safely in the middle of a typhoon. They took their whole day just to look after us and wouldn't even ask for extra money. I can never tell Danny how grateful I am for him looking after us, I learned so much from him and we both owe him so much. Honestly, I can not think of anywhere else I would rather stay in St Lucia. I felt safe, the restaurant nearby was great, the hotel Belgian beers was great, it was all just brilliant. Thank you both for an amazing experience despite the hardship. Olli and Jes

As soon as we arrived and stood on the balcony overlooking Marigot Bay we knew we were going to have a great stay. We had the Richmond apartment which was spacious, comfortable and well equipped and a magnificent view. You have to book direct with them to get this apartment but it’s worth it. Ann made sure we knew all the facilities available to us. Nice touches were clean covers for the loungers every time you used them. My husband was ill for our first couple of days, Ann went out her way to help. We made use of a deal that the guesthouse had with the water sports rental, enjoyed sailing most days, but we could have kayaked or used a SVP. Special mention must be Ann’s recommendation of Johnson for a day out on a boat, small boat like a water taxi, but personal service. He made sure we went to places when the big party boats were not there so we could go snorkelling with no one around, he also pointed out turtles in the sea and gave us a lot of local knowledge.$250 US dollars We will definitely be back. Just returned from our third wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel in Marigot Bay. Danny and Ann are the perfect hosts and the location is stunning…it is a very special place - probably our favourite location of all the places we have been fortunate enough to visit. Thank you 💕

Superb week in beautiful St Lucia was made all the better by staying at the Marigot Palms. One of the best views in the whole of Marigot Bay. Super comfortable apar**ent with full kitchen, lovely super king bed and lush bathroom with good strong shower. Ann and Danny couldn’t have been more helpful with tips and advice about things to do and places to visit. Hired their Suzuki jimny for a day and drove up to Pigeon Island and they also organised a trip for us down to Soufriere where we visited Orlando’s restaurant and the botanical gardens.

I stayed at Marigot Palms from March 13th - 16th 2024 and would definitely recommend a stay here. I arranged for Danny to collect me and he waited whilst I popped into the supermarket which made life much easier. The apartment was lovely and clean throughout my stay. Ann made me a baking soda paste when I showed her some of my bites which worked wonders and took the swelling down so quickly. I had left a bikini in a bag which they arranged to get to me also and it arrived the next day! A lovely stay thank you both so much. 😎

There’s little we can add to the highly positive reviews Ann and Danny get and richly deserve. A really pleasant vibe here, with comfortable and spacious rooms, and lots of nice places to sit and enjoy the views in the common parts of the house and the very well kept grounds.

We have now visited this hotel 2 years running. Having lucked out by finding this hotel in the first place, we had no hesitation going back there this year. We stayed again in the same room, the Richmond, which is one of 2 rooms in a slightly separate building next to the main building but which has the added advantage of even better views across the bay (being slightly higher). This hotel doesn't do food (except, I believe, for one room which has breakfast included) but this is not a problem as the Richmond has a small kitchen, a breakfast bar and a great restaurant (The Villa) just across the road which does breakfast, lunch, dinner and take-aways so no issues. It was great eating breakfast on our shaded balcony, looking out across the beautiful bay. The Belgium hosts Ann and Danny are very friendly and accommodating. Anne even drove my wife to the local hospital when she was suffering (thankfully only temporarily) from a tooth infection and negotiated with them over the fee payable - great to have local knowledge available. The hotel's position overlooking the bay, does mean it's a bit of a climb up and down a steep-ish road to the bay (but takes less then 10 minutes) - but there is a shuttle service offered by the hotel if needed. As well as The Villa there are other walkable restaurants and of course available via a short (& often free) boat trip away. What's not to enjoy?! We'll be back next time we visit St Lucia for sure.

The owners are fantastic, will help with anything you need. Reservations sightseeing trips, restaurants, transportation. Very knowledgeable about the island. The apar**ents are so beautiful and relaxing with a fantastic view from every room. Pool deck overlooking Marigot Bay. Highly recommended

A fabulous stay in the Cardiff suite with amazing views from our balcony. We could have sat on the balcony all day just taking in the beautiful views and watching the boats come and go. The apartment was comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean, with a fully equipped kitchen. The pool and loungers were perfect for relaxing, also situated in beautiful well maintained gardens overlooking Marigot Bay. Ann and Danny were the perfect hosts, so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. They were always around should we have needed them and even drove us to the supermarket to stock up. We also hired a car from Ann and Danny for a few days, again they made the process/paperwork so easy to complete. They are able to provide airport/hotel transfers which I would recommend as the roads can be challenging for some. This was our first experience of booking a holiday independently as we normally go for a package, Ann and Danny were always quick with responses which made us feel at ease from booking our holiday until we arrived and more. Thank you so much Ann and Danny for making our holiday such a memorable one.
