Very nice hotel, located just by the lake. The personnel is very kind and professional. Very good breakfast -maybe adding some fruit would be advisable-. Strongly suggested.

We had an amazing time here! Stefano is the absolute greatest at taking care of travel details- we arrived at 1am from our flight and there was a crib set up with cute little blankets and a pillow for our toddler. He texted us before we arrived through the What's App to help us check in virtually. He also recommended many amazing restaurants for us and placed a takeout order for us one night since our Italian is non bueno! This was also a fantastic stay for the price. Cannot recommend this place more!

110% - above and beyond/cannot recommend highly enough. Stefano speaks first class English and the team went out of the way and succeeded in ensuring I enjoyed my stay here. It has a wonderful clean good sized swimming pool. It was also wonderful to have a large ground floor room with outside seated area. The location is wonderful being between station and main town. There is also good parking right outside the property. Taxis available from train station before 6pm or alternatively easy 20 minute walk. I left on a Sunday so Stefano kindly ran me to the station complimentary as no taxis were available. Castiglione del Lago itself is a small but beautiful town with lakeside areas and you can even rent a boat. There are ferries to the nearby island Isola Maggiore which is wonderful with it's church, history and tourist shops. Great location also for quick and cheap train rides into the nearby town of Cortona and good location for trains to other hill-towns e.g. Orvieto. Breakfast was wonderful- cold meats and cheeses, yoghurts, pastries accompanied by coffee- I enjoyed their cappuccinos and you could even receive a top up for free. I hope that I will be fortunate enough to return one day. Stefano was extremely helpful from the beginning of the booking process to departure at the train station. Grazie mille Stefano and team. delightful hotel by the lake. The staff was highly professional and extremely helpful. The rooms are in chalets all on ground level so perfect for disabled. Large room and very clean. Excellent breakfast overlooking the pool. the location is perfect for lots of day trips around Lake Trasimeno and around Umbria.

We had a great time at this hotel/appar**ent. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was great and most of all we were very pleased with the airco which kept the room cool during a hot summer stay. We enjoyed the pool and overall had a very pleasant and relaxed stay.

We had a great time at Le Macerine and Stefano is a very friendly and helpful host. The Location with an own pool and in a quiet surrounding is perfect to visit the old town of Castiglione del Lago and is also next to the Lake Trasimeno. Bikers (Bycicle) are very welcome and even tools for required maintenance are available.

Ho soggiornato con moglie e bambina di 5 anni per il ponte del 25 Aprile (3 notti). Accoglienza e disponibilità ottima...siamo arrivati alle 8:00 del mattino e ci hanno dato subito la camera, offrendoci per sino la colazione, cosa assolutamente non scontata! La struttura è molto curata, immersa nel verde e le camere essendo delle piccole casette a pian terreno, permettevano alla bambina di giocare nel giardino appena fuori dalla camera senza nessun pericolo. La colazione, mi permetto di scrivere come critica costruttiva, un pò migliorabile nella qualità dei prodotti, ma comunque non "si muore di fame". Posizione fantastica....a pochi metri dal lago e pochi minuti dal centro storico. Insomma....se torneremo ancora in questa zona sicuramente soggiorneremo ancora qui.

Luogo confortevole e accogliente . Hotel posizionato tra il paese e il lago . Personale professionale e gentile . Le camere pulite e spaziose . Lo consiglio vivamente a chi ha animali domestici ! Vacanza di relax da ripetere assolutamente! 🌈
