The guy who checked me in was great as was the breakfast. The hotel was busy. It is just an older hotel that has seen a lot of use.

The shower valve was very difficult to open and close. We reported it 3 times but nobody showed up to fix it. The thermostat display did not work so it was impossible to set the temperature however it did operate the heater ok.
Breakfast buffet was very good and included. The price was lower than most other hotels in Tucson.

It was nice to have a small restaurant on site to grab a bite in early evening and a nice surprise to have a happy hour, social from 5 to 630 and to be able to have free water bottles when you leave for the day.

Except for breakfast and good temperature heated pool it is a cheap motel. Rooms are small, nasty and smell bad.

We stayed here for a week. Our room was dark and out dated but some of the rooms have been renovated and look way nicer. Our room also faced north which meant we didn't get any sun coming in.
The front desk staff were really friendly and helpful. We liked all the little perks - free breakfast, happy hour and water. We made good use of the bbq on the property.
The location is great and a short drive to anything you need. It is only 15 min to Oro Valley and Catalina State park.
I think we qould havebeen happier with a renovated room or one facing a different direction.

The rooms are not kept clean. The carpets haven’t been cleaned is an incredibly long time. Carpets were dark and greasy. Attention to detail is not a trait they can claim about themselves. Debris behind every item and every corner, all along the baseboards. The linens and towels not properly washed. I was in town for 3 nights and had to cancel our stay after one night. The only reason we stayed the first night is because we arrived super late at night and had an early morning meeting.

I decided to stay elsewhere due to the fact… I guess I didn’t realize that the doors of the hotel is from the outside and no elevator for the luggage I have…
The guest services were amazing and the room was nice but smaller than expected
