It has been over two years since I was here but I seem to still be on their e-mailing list for specials. I started going to this place in the early 90's when Kent Chase was the PGA director of golf and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The track was in great shape and the menus. both in the restaurant and the Duke bar was excellent. However, when I stopped to play the course in the mid-2000's on occasion, I noticed the course was going down hill. I was last there with a friend I brought from Minnesota just before Covid hit in early 2020. To say we were disappointed would be a severe understatement. How this place can possibly call themselves a golf resort destination escapes me. While the menu was still good in both the restaurant and Dukes bar, the rooms are VERY DATED ANDVERY OVERPRICED. Most importantly though, this is again, advertised as a "Golf Resort". Sadly, the golf course would rank as nothing short of a rather poorly maintained municipal track at best. This is unfortunate because the layout of the grounds has HUGE potential to be a great golf course. Now once again, I say this was a bit over two years ago. They have sent me emails with specials of $45.00 for a round plus breakfast or lunch. Unless they have made HUGE improvements in the golf course since then, it simply is not worth it.
