Truro

I have stayed in at least 30+ Premier Inns over the last year or so. This is the very worst of those. There was no phone signal in my room, I need my phone for work, when I went to have a drink I turned over a dirty cup, went to wash it and was confronted with frayed, old towels. When I asked to move rooms so I could work I was informed that the hotel was full and that I could therefore not be moved. There were about 6 cars in the car park for a hotel with more than 135+ rooms. Unfortunately I was booked in for 2 nights and it had all been paid. Never again.

Kelly was extremely helpful and kind and made the experience all the more better. The bed was comfortable and food in the morning nice. Amenenties are good and they have the wifi available throughout even in the seperate restaurant. Thank you kelly.

What can I say , waited it then desk for 15 minutes for someone to come out to be told sorry short staffed we are cleaning rooms as well........well to be honest not my problem as a guest if your under staffed that's poor management so wasn't impressed as you don't need to tell me that I just want a bed to sleep in. So went to room they was a smell of damp but I was just to tired to go back down stairs to report it told the young girl when I checked out to be told we have had a few complaints....well not being funny again sort it if I'm not the first .over all it's what it is for a quick stop off point.

The hotel reception staff were excellent. Georgina in particular is a real asset . Very friendly & caring and always a smile. Room was fine, everything in its place.

Hotel needs up dating from outside. Pub for breakfast needed some tlc. Premiere plus room clean and tidy. Tv not working correctly. Shower absolutely rubbish very low water pressure.

Overall the stay was good value for money. However, after attending my friends wedding I arrived back to the hotel around 11.30. I went up to my room but needed some extra items from my car. When I came back to the front door, I had trouble with my card getting in. After a couple of moments it was fine. However the man on reception was the most rude man I have ever had the unfortunate happenings of meeting. He raised his voice after I said I had trouble some with the door key. When I said I couldn't hear him shouting (rather than helping to let me in, he sat in the chair at reception shouting through the window) when I was outside the door he said "well that's not my problem" in a very aggressive manner. I said perhaps you could help, rather than shout, i couldn't hear him as my hearing is not great. I said please don't be rude and he continued to raise his voice saying "you're the one being bloody rude, come one tell me what I am doing to be rude". This was extremely confrontational and I had to walk away because I was on my own and felt extremely uncomfortable. I will not stay at this hotel again. I felt anxious for the rest of my night and could not sleep. His behaviour was completely unacceptable, intimidating and nasty. It has ruined my perception of Premier Inn and was an awful end to a lovely day. Being a solo female traveller, I did not have the confidence to raise this at the time as I only saw him at reception.

Kelly and Jess were very helpful. I was travelling with work and had a lot of stuff to carry up to my room. Kelly went above and beyond to help and make sure that I had a trolly and also personally assisted me to make sure that the kit got to my room safely. Thank you both!!

My wife and I stayed over at the Premier Inn to attend a funeral at Truro cemetery. While walking down the corridor I heard what I thought was the sound of someone calling for help, I thought it was a TV show. I realized that it was someone needing help. I found the room (that was locked ) and let the lady know that I'd get someone from reception to open the door. Kelly (the receptionist) opened the door for us to find Rosemary laying on the floor in some pain. Kelly contacted a family member and called 999. She got all relevant information from the lady. Fantastic staff and we will be staying at Premier Inn Truro on our next trip. Well done Kelly.

First time staying in a Premier Inn and not impressed. On arrival in the car park the hotel looked very tired, nothing like the online photos. Our check in was from 3pm. We arrived at 2:40 and asked if we could still check in? No, not unless you pay £10!! We sat in the car until 3pm. Got in the room to find one hand towel and one bath towel between two of us for three nights and the toilet seat loose and nearly hanging off. Complained to reception who arranged another bath towel but said one hand towel between two is standard. Receptionist said she would tighten the seat while we were out. She did but it was loose again next day. The trim is also hanging off the front of the dressing table something that must just be ignored every day. They also provide clothes hangers but no rail to hang them on. So, you have to hang clean clothes on the coat hooks with your wet coats.
