Lovely charm to the little hotel with friendly and happy-to-help staff. Easy walking distance to the V&A and can't beat cooling off later in the rooftop bar with a beer in hand. Phenomenal views of Table mnt. Greatly appreciated the airport pick up.

We had a fantastic six night stay at The Grey in De Waterkant. The hotel is situated in an excellent area in Cape Town – in walking distance to loads of bars, restaurants and shops. As well as being a very short drive to other areas of interest such as the Water Front and Kloof Street. The room was super comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. The hotel also has a great rooftop bar/outdoor area which has a wonderful view of table mountain. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful – would highly recommend.

Cracking small hotel not to far from the V & A.Staff are brilliant.Rooms spotless.great food and live music.bar and pool on roof.No complaints what so ever.

Lovely boutique hotel, nice staff. Great value for money. Nice area. Soft close on the toilet seat would have been nice. Less noise from the ac (not sure if that was causing it). A bit more water pressure in the shower would be great. I was fighting with the hotel room safe, but that could be my stupidity

The hotel is lovely but you can not be disabled or over sized it has a nice a**osphere but we could have got more information from the reception about the restaurant and the surroundings. The breakfast could have some improvements but the staff was interested and fixed what ever problem you could have. The reception could have also informed that there are pool towels to borrow. Great close to the waterfront and the BooKap so nice area to stay in. Lovley restaurant and also other interesting places with good food
