Ocean View House

Absolutely amazing hotel. The staff can’t do enough for you. The breakfast and lunch are really tasty and I would highly recommend it. It’s away from the ***** which means it’s nice and quiet with beautiful views. It has a real family feel to it. 10/10

A fabulous idyllic oasis set in the corner of Camps Bay overlooking the sea! It’s just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the centre and has the most amazing views and sunsets! The main element of the hotel that sets it in our top three hotels ever stayed in is the hospitality and friendliness of the staff. Along, with the food, drinks and cleanliness. The gardens are spectacular!! We will most definitely be returning and feel a little emotional today about leaving. First class. A big shout out to Supreme, Marshall and Wilson. You have been truly amazing ❤️

If you look you will see that I have reviewed this beautiful venue on more than one occasion and that is because it is a divine place to visit when you are in Cape Town. We are here again for just a week before flying back to the UK. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with hugs from the owners and the staff, our room is beautifully fitted out, the breakfast room is awash with divine fruit dishes, the staff are keen to take your order and there is always more if you are very hungry. Every where is immaculate, the sun beds await, the pools are crystal clear, and Winston awaits your drinks order upstairs. We just love being at Ocean View House, we love all the staff and we cannot wait to come back soon.

This place is an absolute delight. Perfectly located, away from the busyness of Camps Bay. The staff are fantastic - the breakfast delicious. Nothing is too much of a problem for the staff. It’s all super clean and we laid out. Highly recommend.

Great hotel/guest house with fantastic view of the bay. Lovely fresh breakfast cooked to order each morning. Rooms were very comfortable and there were two small terraces with sun beds, table/chairs and small swimming/splash pools. The hotel was within walking distance of Camps Bay restaurants, around a 20 minute walk, which is fine during daylight hours but I would recommend a taxi back after dark (taxi fare was less than £2). Overall I would say a car is essential if staying at this property.

We were very impressed on several fronts regarding this property. Whether you have a room with the mountain view or the sea view, while staying at this resort you will have access to both views from the 2 pools. The staff are very friendly and breakfasts were delicious. They offer a buffet of yogurt, cereals, breads, meat/cheese, fruit and juices, and then you order you main dish from a menu. During they day they have a bar tender and at night, they have an ‘honor bar’ open until very late night which we found very fascinating. Grab what you want (beer, mixed drink, etc.) and just write down your room number! They will bill you at checkout. We opted for two tours during our stay, organized by Ocean View House. The first day we took the full-cape tour and were so enamored with our guide, Riaz, that we insisted on having him again for our Township tour the next day! He was so friendly and knowledgeable about his hometown! The property is located within walking distance of the beaches as well as many restaurants/shops within 2km of the hotel. (Try Bo-Vine for a lovely steak dinner at reasonable prices!). We loved walking up and down the quiet, neighborhood streets on our way to the boardwalk areas. Lots of locals jogging or riding their bikes. The ONLY negative on this property is that there is no restaurant for dinner… however, UberEats will deliver from a number of local restaurants. Many guests did this while we were there. For the price, location, service, amenities, and VIEWS we will certainly return when we are back in Camps Bay!

Yet another wonderful stay at our favourite accommodation in Cape Town ! The quality of everything at Ocean View is superb- from the bedrooms to the pools and the breakfast.. The location is super, being slightly away from the centre of Camps Bay yet just a pleasant stroll from the shops and restaurants when required. The gardens are splendid and the staff without exception were most considerate , efficient and friendly. A lovely place to stay !

Stayed for three nights late February and adored the hotel. Staff could not have been more attentive, views to die for, and a great location. Would highly recommend it if looking for a hotel in the Camps Bay area and surrounds. It's like an oasis in the heart of the bustling city.

My wife & I stayed at Ocean View for 4 nights in a lovely room with balcony fantastic property & location . Great views of the Ocean in front & mountains behind . Staff were all great especially Wilson who ran the bar . Breakfast was delicious with amazing choice of fresh hot & cold dishes & great coffee .
