The place is just lovely. The room is so comfortable, great bed and all amenities supplied. They also do a really lovely breakfast informally downstairs which was a treat. Staff was so kind and couldn’t do enough for me. And I’d really enjoyed the snack selection in the room- I’m a big hotel room snacker I’ll definitely go back again next time I’m visiting Cape Town

We really enjoyed every minute of our stay and would have loved to atay even longer. The hotel itself is just beautiful. We were lucky to be upgraded to a spacious room with a private terrace. The service was outstanding and the staff was super lovely. Breakfast was great as well and featured both hot and cold dishes, all freshly prepared. I can’t recommend this place enough.

We booked The Pineapple House Boutique Hotel for our last night of a 2 month's stay in the Western Cape. We thought of an individual boutique hotel right in town as an appropriate "finale". We booked via a booking website a 30 sqm double room - we had wanted to stay there during our stay but each time there was only a smaller room available, this size was only available that night. When we arrived, the room was merely 12 sqm (rather 10 sqm) big. It was suitable for a single person. Us, having a lot of suitcases, would have not fitted in there. Also, my partner needed the room to work, we did not even have a proper table. For the price and also the mentioned size of the room, we expected from the team to give us an alternative but they could not. Also the way we were treated was not friendly at all - They did not show any understanding as they said it is a problem of the booking website and not theirs. We asked for a refund but there was no sense of empathy. We expected The Pineapple House to be a professional, unique, one-of-a-kind Cape Town gem, but all we saw was a tiny room with basic interior, could have been any basic budget hotel somewhere around the globe with mediocre interior and unprofessional service at its maximum. We had no chance but to leave the place, not ever having seen our money back unfortunately.

When life gives you lemons, 🍋 best to take them and make lemonade. My usual accommodations in Cape Town were all fully booked - lucky me! (which is wonderful as it means the tourism season has begun - and on that note, I have never seen Cape Town so jammed with foreign accents ever! Everywhere I went it felt like I was a foreigner in my own country as it seemed I was the only South African , from all the different accents and languages that surrounded me - even Cape Town airport apron was packed with foreign airlines. It’s such a wonderful site to see - Well done Cape Town on positioning yourself as the tourism mecca of South Africa. You clearly getting it right!!) Now, I digressing, back to my accommodation- this place is a jem of note and I was particularly lucky to have gotten a room here, considering it is always fully booked (and after experiencing Pineapple House Boutique Hotel for myself, it’s not hard to see why) It certainly doesn’t take a genius to figure it out - this place is Gorgeous- with a capital G. I have been eyeing it out for a while on Instagram, but like i said it is always full, not sure why or how I got lucky this time around but I am certainly not going to be looking a gift horse in the mouth. I will take my lucky fortune and be grateful. Do yourselves a favour if you ever find yourself in the Mother City. Then this is the place you should come and stay. It’s like being in your own Alice in Wonderland storybook. That’s how magical it is.

Highly recommended. Staff are outstanding, very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect- quiet side road with secure parking but only two minutes stroll to restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket, five minutes walk to Sea Point promenade and hop on/ hop off tourist bus stop. Breakfast fantastic. Only minor negative is that our room was on the small side but that was offset by comfortable lounges and outdoor deck area. Definitely 5 stars!

What an amazing place. Beautifully converted townhouse tucked away at Sea Point, 2 mins walk from the seafront promenade. Artistic and stylish decoration made it feel unique and special. Spotlessly clean with the friendliest and most helpful staff I have experienced in South Africa. And great breakfasts! Was a genuine joy to stay at Pineapple House.

We really enjoyed our stay at pineapple house boutique hotel! Lovely interior, friendly staff, great breakfast! Room was large, very clean and beautiful decorated. The suite also has a private balcony with a nice view of lions head! Highly recommend to stay at this hotel.
