We loved being there the place is outstanding. It is one of the places in south Texas that you definitely do not want to pass up. Great location. We booked because you were recommended by a person my wife just met. Darrin and Keith made our 40th anniversary so special. They are such good hosts are making a difference every effort to get make each guest feel like home away from home. we were in the garden room love the mix of old and new. We will definitely book again and again. Thank for such a special stay.

We were only here for a 1 night stay, but we could have stayed a week at this amazing slice of heaven. Darren and Keith were so accommodating and friendly and just went out of their way for us and their guests. They had snacks as you walk in, and a fridge with drinks for our use. The rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully decorated and had everything you'd need, from bathrobes and slippers to fresh water and chocolates. The beds were so comfortable too! We really enjoyed sitting out on our balcony and listening to the windchimes and watching the quiet night sky from our own hot tub. Darren made a delicious breakfast for us all and we ate with other lovely guests and had coffee out on the deck as we watched the deer come up and feed. Thank you for your graciousness Darren and Keith, we will be back!

Darrin and Keith are the perfect hosts. The Inn is very well appointed and has great areas to relax on the deck and watch birds and deer in the backyard. We booked the Lone Star Suite with a private deck and hot tub which was put to good use! Highly recommend this spot for a fun trip to the Hill Country. Short drive to New Braunfels and we went to the Farmer's Market on Saturday and then shopping and lunch in Gruene. Also toured Canyon dam and the trail that leads to the Guadalupe river.

I was truly fortunate to have secured (return) bookings for myself & wife (& two other couples) during the April 2024 Total Solar Eclipse over Texas. This was our Fourth visit to Equinox Inn for us, and all expectations were again exceeded for clean, comfortable accommodations, delicious breakfasts (& optional meals), never-ending (complimentary) snacks & beverages, heartwarming host courtesies & friendly conversations (with other notable, world-traveling guests as well as with our knowledgeable and talented selfless hosts/owners couple, Keith & Darrin Hammons).

Love ❤️ Keith and Darrin they felt like family by the time we left First bed and breakfast experience and it was Excellent!! Food was delicious and company was awesome 👌 Made sure we felt at home We will be back 10 out of 10 recommend When there it's close to the lake and it's beautiful.

Great place. Keith and Darrin are great hosts. Stayed there 4 times so far and I will go back. Make sure to feed the deer in the backyard. Talk astronomy with Keith or flowers with Darrin. Rooms are spacious. Sodas are in the fridge outside on the porch. Breakfast is great and you can tailor them. I am not a huge fan of eggs, but love potatoes for breakfast. No problem.

Had the entire home for family from out of town here for a wedding. We were very well taken care of and Darrin, the hostess, was friendly and helpful on planning a few day trips over the weekend when we were there. Great rooms and we were very spoiled during our stay.

A pleasant three day getaway from Houston was what we wanted. Keith and Darrin delivered a great relaxing experience.... they work really hard to make sure their guests are treated well. The room was lovely, and we had our own hot tub! Another good thing -- they are an independant B&B..... that means no $175 "cleaning fee" and no $60 "booking fee" like some of the places charge!

We had a truly wonderful experience here! Keith and Darrin were fantastic hosts and extremely accommodating with our dietary preferences. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious! Darrin was so thoughtful in making sure we enjoyed our meals and asking what could make them better. Keith had so many stories to offer. It was just such a cozy homey feel for our whole stay. We enjoyed all the special little touches in the room and throughout the house. Our private hot tub was the icing on the cake. We went during the weekend of the freeze and spending cold nights in the hot tub was so fun and relaxing. We loved our time and would definitely return! If you're considering options in the area, look no further. I promise you won't be disappointed!!
