"1.The bed on one side,felt like it had a broken spring because it was like sinking into a bean bag. Not good. 2.The bathroom had a terrible smell coming from the drain in the shower,it was bad enough we had to call reception to come n try n sort it out,the staff did a quick fix,but it was not ideal,they did offer to move us to another room,but we had unpacked and settled in.we just opened a window and tried to get fresh air through the room. 3. The fire alarm went off for a short time and we were told to wait for further instructions,still waiting and we checked out yesterday lol. We tried to ring reception from our room to find out more about the situation,no answer. So we dialled out of our room and rang Rydges and got through to them that way. 4. The day of checkout,was anytime before 11am, at 9 am I was in bed,my partner was in the bathroom,the door opens,no knock to let us know someone was at the door,the cleaner just walked in and then starts apologizing when she notices me in bed,I was NOT HAPPY. 5.Went down to the buffet breakfast,they couldn't find us/ our name n room number and had to check with reception to confirm we were booked in & paying guests before we could be seated. My partner did enjoy his bacon & eggs breakfast,the yoghurt I had was rather bland. The staff were very helpful and respectful when we needed them to be and they did give us a free breakfast to compensate But the negatives make me question whether I'd stay there again The positives are the location ( which is great ) and the helpful staff who were friendly and polite,but they can only do so much in certain situations."
