The location was convenient and reception staff were nice, but the stay was bad. The initial reservation allowed me to include our 8 year old son as the room could have three people. I booked it and requested a roll away bed. The property called and said they were unable to provide a roll away and I'd need to upgrade to a 1 bedroom to accommodate an extra bed for him. We declined and were permitted to bring a blow up mattress for him. On arrival, our reservation was over $100 more than the ******* rate. The property advised they'd upgraded up to a 1 bedroom apt for free, but charging an extra $50 per night for the sofa bed. We were told this was not an option when reserving so had brought an air mattress for our son and asked the reservation be changed back to what we had booked, and the property did this.
Once in the room, we realised we'd forgotten a blanket for our son. There were no spare blankets in the cupboard so we rang and asked for an extra blanket in the room, reception called back and advised there were no spare blankets in the entire property. Considering someone may accidentally spill something and need a spare blanket, that seems ridiculous. They provided a sheet and a bed topper in place of an extra blanket. We had to buy one the next day so he was able to sleep properly on the second night of our stay. We were really worried surprised to have this experience when the property advises there 4 star. There should at least be a spare blanket available to guests!
