Steigenberger Hotel and Resort Camp de Mar

Even though I do agree with the fact that the hotel needs some good renovation and nice decoration, I have liked the place very much. Rooms are large and bathrooms even more. The pool is big with enough loungers all over, the beach is only 10mns walk. I have especially liked the people working at the desk, the pool restaurant, the night restaurant. They were nice and very professionals.Thank you Benjamin, Elena, Marilena, Beatrix...sorry for those I forgot. I also would like to say that the clients of the hotel are very well educated and friendly.. Their children as well. We had a very nice time with you all

Old, renovations needed. Even my 3 year old said the shower in our room looks old. Breakfast Buffett was nice but Worst instand coffee ever at the breakfast. For a 5 star resort unacceptable. Staff was friendly. Spa area very small and only open until 8pm.

This was a lovely hotel! Staff was very friendly and helpful to span-glish speaking Americans! I did my best! The breakfast buffet was awesome! They even helped coordinate a rental car for our day excursion across the island!! My only disappointment was I underestimated the time and distance to/ from Palma. Camp de Mar is a quaint beach town! The bus system is great going to/ from Port d’Andratx.

We stayed 2 weeks at the Steigenberger Hotel in 09.22 and all was perfect. The Staff wherever you go is very nice & helpful, the Breakfast is just awesome with a lot of choices & fresh products, the Room even the most Standard one is amazing with a very nice view on the Golf Court, the Swimming-Pool is perfect with the Pool Bar & the SPA has everything you can look for. A very nice & pleasant Hotel where you can go eyes closed. We’ll be back for sure. Thank You for that privileged moments.

My wife and I have just returned from 6 days staying in this lovely 5 star hotel. Everything was perfect, stunning rooms, grounds, pool, and the staff were very friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble and the food and buffet breakfast was superb. A WORD OF WARNING. We booked this Hotel through an online travel agent called Love Holidays and during the booking process ticked their Airport Transfer ADD ON for what we thought should be a 30 minute minibus ride. This turned out to be a 2 and a half hour transfer! as the enormous public bus stopped at almost every resort between the airport and Steigenberger. We arrived at the hotel late at night feeling very wound up but very thoughtfully the hotel had arranged some complimentary refreshments knowing what had happened. Needless to say we tore up the return voucher opting instead for a cab which cost 50 euros and took 30 mins! This is not the hotel's fault as these Online Travel agents are free to sell their ADD ON'S without agreement of the Hotels. Do yourselves a favour and either jump in a taxi when you arrive at the airport or phone the Steinberger and they will be happy to arrange one for you. One other thing....Love Holidays sold us what they call a pool side room which turned out to be a room on the 4th floor that may have been on the same side of the large building as the pool but didn't actually have any view of the Pool due to an inaccessible roof garden in the way! Whilst I'm sure the hotel would have done anything to accommodate us in an alternative room we didn't actually bother asking as we found we rather liked the privacy of our private balcony. If you want a room that actually overlooks over the pool I recommend calling the Steigenberger direct to book. With hindsight we wished we had booked direct for the whole holiday. Camp de Mar has a lovely beach.
