We booked this travel lodge as my mum had to be at the papworth hospital earlier
The next morning, my mum had to have oxygen and the lady on reception was rude to her didn’t speak to her directly but referred to her and disable all the time, we had oxygen delivered to the room which I confirms with another staff member over the phone a few days before we arrived and was told
It wasn’t a problem, we ended up needing an engineer out as the oxygen wasn’t working and we just got tutted at by said staff member, when we made a complete to the travel
Lodge all we got was you booked via a third party so there own staff wasn’t a problem, would stay here again if I was paid too, rude with no need to be

Clean, basic hotel with helpful staff.
Would recommend but someone was spying and commenting on my actions in my private room.
I did inform the Reception Desk.
Services area needs some more active supervision to stop male tarts soliciting / pernicious, slandering females with kids endangering customers' wellbeing.

Even though the hotel is far from Cambridge downtown, it is clean and surrounded by several stores where one can get everything when needed.
The reception ladies are very handful, and they provided help when we needed it.
Getting an Uber from the hotel is also tricky, as it depends on the time of the day you request one.

The good bed and bedding, ok tv and gushing shower earn the 1 star. As for the rest I cannot believe the 4 and 5 star reviews that cannot have been written by real guests. The general hotel area is grubby and uninviting. On reaching the room, oh dear. It is dilapidated, dirty and the worst TRAVELODGE I have ever stayed at. The bathroom is the worst. There were basic items missing, no hairdryer, no glasses. The paid for Wi-Fi doesn’t work very well. Just about every pub and cafe offers free Wi-Fi whereas here you have to pay £3 per day per device. The breakfasts to go are basic and not worth the £5.50. We had pre booked them for 3 days not realising that you get exactly the same every day. We gave up and went to find a breakfast on our last day. My son vows he will never stay ata other TRAVELODGE again. We have stayed in a TRAVELODGE twice before and they were much better. But they cannot reach the standard if the Premier Inn, but then they are generally cheaper. Beware anyone coming this way, avoid this hotel if you have a choice

I used this hotel for a stay while I visited Newmarket races in November. The hotel was very quite despite being near a main road and I would use it again if I was to do the same thing. The only downside was the lack of food/restaurants near by as they were closed for maintenance.

Very convenient location. Babraham P&R into Cambridge only a 5 minutes away. Quiet and comfortable accommodation. Courteous and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again.

Really good value for money and close to A11. The building is in need of an upgrade and TLC but staff really worked hard and beds and towels were clean so suited our needs. t

Hotel was in a good location but very dated! Needs an upgrade/refurb! No local amenities which was frustrating. Lovely staff though.
