Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay

It was a little loud A humming noise from outside the resort fee is excessive but the property is nice, great view, great beds, and excellent showers

The property itself is beautiful, but is starting to show signs of wear. The cushions on my outdoor balcony were moldy and vents in the room were dirty. They charge exorbitant resort fees but then charge you for everything so not sure what the fees cover.

It’s overpriced as a resort because the amenities are not there. One restaurant open and the food is mediocre and there’s not really anything else to go to without driving at least twenty minutes away. Same for any shopping or other activities. Most resorts I’ve stayed at offer much more.

The indoor pool was the best part of our stay. The hotel is pretty nice but a little outdated and a lot of loudness throughout the night. There was a large wedding that seemed to be the main priority (very cool to see the decorations and hear the music when walking by the ball rooms) but it also made it weird when trying to get to the parking lot you had to walk through their area and it just seemed odd like you were in the way without trying to be. The noise lasted really late in the hallways past midnight so that would be my biggest complaint. The extra resort fee seemed pointless when you couldnt enjoy any of the grounds or things that make it a resort. Would come back in better season and it might be more worth it.

The young lady at check-in was terrific. She was patient, very informative and helped us with settling in for the stay. We stay there often and always find everyone very helpful and welcoming. Our experience in the bar/eating lounge with our young lady was not polite or helpful and certainly not patient with our guest who was placing her order. This was very unusual for the service in the bar area and we were a bit unhappy with her presentation. Otherwise the food and drink was as usual, fantastic.

Everything was as expected. From the time of check-in to checkout, the experience was outstanding. There are plenty of activities for the little ones, and there are several stores and restaurants in driving distance. I was surprised at what was available during the winter, and I want to see what is available during the warmer months. I highly recommend Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay for an outstanding family friendly experience!

Heated indoor pool was terrific, excellent for swimming laps, and the indoor hot tub was very relaxing. The view from my room was lovely, but the heat didn't work and it took 90 minutes for someone to come and fix it and then it took 30 minutes for room to warm up

It is always a pleasure to stay at the Hyatt in Cambridge. Guests treated well every time we are there. Food and drinks are always well done.
