Hotel Millor Sol

We were worried about visiting with the recent reviews on here but our stay was the opposite of those. We honestly couldn’t fault anything. Our first floor room was a great size and excellently clean. (Housekeeping attended daily) We had no issues with noise Normally although half board we don’t eat much in the hotel however dined 4 of the 7 nights and had a good experience on all. All the staff were friendly and helpful Great location for walking to beach, shops, bars and restaurants Highly recommend, excellent value for money

Summary: cheap, however unless if you have a fetish for grumpy old Spanish men named Jose you should look elsewhere. The hotel is moderately priced, so they got that going for them. Rooms and open areas are acceptably clean and it's easy to park on-site or just around the corner. However staying here is not worth it. Room maintenance is showing signs of aging, the "entertainment" is appealing, resting is not a given as they blast the music and you will hear it loudly from any of the rooms, and if you are deaf, they got you too as they don't allow you to turn off the light off the balcony and the light comes in. Food quality is subpar, tasteless and unhealthy. And then there is José, the restaurant manager. He clearly hates his job and would rather retire, someone please help him to do so. He is rude beyond recognition, including shouting at my wife for answering with our room number rather than number of people as we arrived to the buffet, telling us that how dare we think we can charge drinks to our room and we must pay each time as people can't be trusted and comment about guests loudly and off tone. In summary, stay somewhere else and fully enjoy the most amazing island ever.

Finally got a chance to visit! My family used to stay here a lot during the 1980s, so I wanted to visit now too! We arrived very late at night as our transfer was quite long, but there was staff to check us straight in, very informative and told us everything we needed to know about the hotel. Our room was quite basic and dated but it was spotlessly clean and very functional. The bed was comfy but the pillows were too thin and the beds kept sliding apart as it was two singles pushed together. We had a great view of the pool and mountains from our balcony, and could also watch the entertainment from our balcony at night, which we loved too! The breakfast was included in our stay and was good, some different foods which I didn’t eat but there was a good selection of food and the apple juice was delicious! The staff were all very attentive, taking dirty plates away quickly and cleaning tab,Ed the minute they were empty. The snack bar was good too, quite reasonably priced and lots of choices and big portions too. We didn’t eat lunch or dinner in the Hotel restaurant during our stay. The car hire is great, with two companies to choose from, the hotel receptionist just rang our chosen car company, and they came the next day, and we got a great offer of 3 for 2 days so that was very handy too, there is quite a lot of on-site parking at the hotel which was good. The pool was great, plenty of sun beds to choose from throughout the day too, so we never had to worry about not getting a sun bed. They’re all close to the pool too which was handy, the pool was always cleaned every morning. The pool was a nice size too. The staff were all nice and helpful, especially Oxanda who was always smiley on reception and would always help with any issues if needed. The only issues were ants in our room, and the drain in the bathroom smelt a lot. Other than that, we had an excellent holiday, and would definitely come back!

Absolutely awful hotel it is more like a 2/3 star no way a 4 star Food awful and no choice Rooms horrendous in need of a total overhaul Staff friendly and accommodating where they can help Very noisy no matter where you are in hotel Difficult to get subbed The list goes on! The whole experience is terrible worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in, meant to a special anniversary trip turned into a nightmare If you value a peaceful classy holiday don’t come here!

Absolutely do not stay here - we traveled last month (July 2024) Firstly upon check in we realised the AC was not working (again with a 7 month year old so had the gadgets to check the temperature of the room) the room was 27 degrees with the ac on - when informing to the reception they simply informed us that he was not an engineer and it is not his problem. Breakfast selection is incredible, however the manager of the breakfast (old Spanish man did not catch his name) I believe Juan? One time my partner couldn’t join as he had to stay with the baby, I tried to take some croissants to the room, he tried to charge me €6 even though breakfast was complimentary in the stay …. Another night we ended up in the town and came back to the hotel around 1140pm, asked for drinks and the waitress and the outdoor manager slammed the door telling us they are closed - again zero manors. You’d think them just beating England in the euros would make them happy but in fact was the complete opposite. If you can afford to pay more and stay else where please do, was a terrible experience.

We’ve just returned to the UK from our first visit to Cala Millor, myself my husband and our 5 year old daughter. It certainly won’t be our last visit, we absolutely loved Cala Millor, perfect for families, very safe and spotlessly clean. The Hotel Millor Sol was fantastic- we would highly recommend it for families or couples. From the moment we arrived we received a warm welcome at reception, even though it was around 1am check- in was fast and easy and we couldn’t wait to see our room, we booked a superior room for a fridge and extra sofa bed. We were on the first floor.The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, light and airy. Comfy bed & the sofa bed was pretty good, it was made up when we arrived and easy to pull out and fold away for extra space. All rooms have balconies that over look the pool with chairs and small table. The air conditioning was great and we the bathroom Was spacious & spotless with a walk in shower which was really good! The hairdryer is in the bathroom and I found it perfect as I have a short bob, you press a button to operate it, I imagine with thick long hair this could be hard work. The hotel was so lovely, classical modern, spacious and clean. Breakfast was amazing. So much choice and food was always tasty and hot. Omelette station was great with fresh pancakes made daily. Churros and warm chocolate sauce for breakfast was a treat! All hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast served 8-10am. Pool opens 10-6 which we found perfect. There is a good size Large pool and smaller children’s pool which was perfect for our daughter around 1 metre deep. Although breakfast always seemed really busy the hotel was quiet throughout the day and evening and the pool was often empty or just a few people in it which was great, no crowds & no sun-bed hogging! Pool area was always clean and the hotel bar is great where they serve drinks and snacks. (from toasties to burgers and pizzas) The hotel is an easy 7 minute walk down one street to the beautiful beach front where there are loads of cafe bars, restaurants and shops. We had some wonderful meals and all restaurants are child friendly. Would definately recommend hiring a bike to visit Cala bona and Sa Coma, the circle paths reach right along the sea front. Great hotel in a great location, very close to everything but away from all The hustle and bustle. would highly recommend staying here!!
