The Mallorca Mar is an absolutely stunning hotel. Right on the coast, the setting is beautiful. The staff (and I mean all, reception, restaurants, snack bar, bar, cleaning crew) are fantastic, so courteous and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The restaurant serves a wide range of food, all which is fresh and replenished constantly, they have a dedicated children's section for the younger guests too. The swimming pools are brilliant, all have lifeguards and there is no need to worry about getting a sunbed, there is space for everyone and you aren't all in each others space which is great. The rooms are lovely, we had a 2 bed apartment, lots of space, 2 TVs with a good selection of English channels and air con in every room. A kitchenette with a bottle of water provided on arrival was a lovely touch, as was the surprise seaview! It's a TUI Blue hotel, there are lots of reps on site providing entertainment throughout the day (not that we joined in as our kids just love the pool), they also provide the evening entertainment which in all honesty just wasn't our thing, however the main hall was packed every night so it appeals to some! In the evening you can enjoy a drink on the veranda next to the hall or take a wander into Cala Bona which is no more than 10 mins along the coast and is a lovely little harbour with bars and restaurants and shops, or travel a bit further into Cala Millor if you want something a bit busier. The hotel organised a wheelchair for our nan who's 90 and the walk would've been too much for her, it was easy, a fair price and was with us the following morning. We had an absolutely fantastic time, we hired a car for the day and went up the coast which was great, again organising this through the reception staff. We also hired the multi seater bikes for the day which was good fun, however I do think they need a bit of maintenance so maybe have a look before you commit to booking (the 5 seater yellow was extremely hard work). The rep advised there was a lovely beach just up the coast (opposite direction of Cala Millor where lots of sandy beaches) which is less busy and really nice, he advised it was a 15 min walk, it isn't, it's atleast 35 mins, however it is lovely and worth the longer walk. Pics added. Overall we had a brilliant stay, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an all inclusive in a beautiful part of Majorca.
