We arrived at the hotel around 1.30pm and we were able to check in straight away, the girl on reception was very friendly and explained where our room was as there are 2 towers . We were on the 10th floor with a city view. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Loved how they are helping with environmentally keys for your door which are just round bamboo disks and also having no plastic bottles in the fridges, just glass bottles. All tv programs were free so we’re able to watch new release movies and free wifi . We had booked a holiday package , so we also had free car parking and a $250 credit to use at any of their hotels . Would definitely stay here again .

Crystalbrook Bailey was my stopover hotel so I wasn't expecting anything flash etc however when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised how beautiful and modern this hotel is. Such a change to a lot of the older Cairns hotels. I felt like I was in a hotel in Melbourne! Check in was a breeze and staff were lovely, I was in my room in no time at all. There is alot of stunning modern artworks all throughout the building, very cool to find as you make your way to your floor. The room was beautiful and sufficient for a one nights stay, I could have easily stayed for longer! The location is great, in the city and close to the esplanade. I would definitely stay here again!

I could have given 5 stars but didn’t because I requested to give me extra 1 hour check out time but they declined. They just didn’t care at all those people on the front desk. I won’t come back there are plenty hotels in the vicinity, a little walk is good exercise; plus the night market is on the other side anyway.

Very nice hotel and staff within easy walking distance to the Reef terminal and esplanade where there are many restaurants and shopping. Room had a small balcony with a view of the cruise ships coming into cairns. Room was spacious and clean. had a welcome bottle of Prosecco from the staff for my Wife's Birthday!! very nice!! Highly recommend this hotel (has a nice pool too!!).

Pullman's is close to everything in town. I rang Pullman's the day after I booked a room & asked reservations if I could get a upgrade to a harbour view, the reservations person said that yes I could get an upgrade & that it would cost me an extra $20 a night on top of what I had paid, I said should I pay for that now, they said no when you arrived it will be $80 as I was staying for 4 nights. When I arrived I asked them about my upgrade & they said there was no record of me wanting an upgrade & that they could not help with a harbour view room as they did not have any available. I had other friends staying at the hotel at the same time that paid for mountain views & got harbour views. The furniture in the rooms were old & tables were swollen & had big chips out of them, outdoor table & chairs were not 5 star. We had breakfast at Coco's, I had ordered muffins, my friends had ordered omelette & bacon & eggs. I changed my mine 1 minute after I ordered, I wanted waffles I asked the staff & they said yes they would change my order. My friends order came & I waited for 20 minutes before I got my waffles. Staff were walking around the restaurant with orders & asking people had they ordered this, they had no table numbers, no idea who ordered what, they looked very unprofessional.

I have an apartment style, a bedroom, it should not be a 1.8 bed. Our 2 adults brought a 12-year-old child to sleep on the bed, their feet are outside the bed, and the living room is two. People sofa, because the reservation said that no extra bed, so it is so okay. The room facilities are very old, the shower door on the bathtub has been replaced, only one frame is left, there is no shower curtain, the nozzle is sprayed in a mist, the basic washing is not so happy, it will splash around, and the bath is basically the bathroom. wet. The capsule coffee machine in the room was bad, could not make coffee, and did not clean every day until the day of departure. If it is not because I booked a day trip to the Kuranda Rainforest, I will take a sightseeing train back when I return. This hotel is opposite the train station. I can go upstairs from the train station to the large parking lot, from the commercial building of Coles Supermarket. It’s really tight, but in addition, it’s definitely not chosen because the accommodation is too poor and there is no service at all. The front desk service is Monday to Friday 8:00-17:00 and weekend is 10: 00-15:00. Dear friends, if you can move, it is recommended to choose other hotels. According to my observation, Cairns has very few taxis. It seems that it is impossible to make a reservation, and the bus is not convenient. Basically, it depends on the legs. Breakfast was not eaten at the hotel, it is estimated that it is not awkward, the hotel itself has a parking lot, the visual inspection is quite big, because there is no self-driving in Cairns, so I don't know how to charge, but it should be charged.

I had an overall good experience at this hostel but the rooms were uncomfortably warm & damp. Not sure if that reflects an issue with the ventilation/air conditioning on 1st floor or it's just the reality of living in the tropics in general, but it greatly affected the quality of my sleep. At the very least, it would be helpful to prohibit the use of strongly scented perfumes in the dorm rooms and/or allow the dorm doors to remain open during the day to make the air more breathable. The pricing was very reasonable for everything that was included & the central location. I was impressed at how clean & available the bathrooms were. I also thought the staff & night manager were nice & helpful. Would highly recommend if you can tolerate the humidity.

We stayed at Oak Carins for one quick evening before departing for a liveaboard cruise. The check in was quick and our stay was nice and comfortable. The only issue is that we booked the stay through our airline and requested an ocean view room. Unfortunately, the systems didn’t sync and Oak Carins oversold ocean view rooms and we were stuck with a different view. The staff tried to accommodate with a breakfast voucher but we couldn’t accept as we were leaving before their kitchens opened. So we were told that we would be credited back a refund…but there are so many stages/3rd parties, I doubt we will ever see it, but appreciate them trying. Would recommend if you are in Cairns and need a reasonably priced place to stay that is walking distance to the activities in the city.

We booked 2 rooms this week, each for 3 days. On arrival, we were given the keys to the above rooms which were both spacious and very clean. All went well until 10pm when the noise from the street below began and continued with loud shouting, cars screeching, and fighting until 4.30am - there is also a hotel across the road from these rooms.We had no sleep, and the following morning requested a change of room for the next 2 nights. On returning that afternoon we were handed keys to rooms 120 and 122 with no discussion about room type or additional cost.That night at 9pm I received 4 phone calls advising of an additional cost of $30/room/night or we could again move rooms - finally I was able to negotiate a ”win,win: with each of us paying an additional $15/night and we had 2 peaceful nights.

This is definitely a place that is orientated more towards families rather than couples. What was good was the friendly staff throughout the resort, the food and beverage service and the convenient underground parking. Stayed in a deluxe king room on the fifth floor overlooking Cairns city which appears to have been recently upgraded. Room smelt damp on entry and after the first shower it was evident why. It is hard to believe that someone designed the shower so that water flowed directly onto the floor and out into the living area even when you had the least amount of water flow possible. Wee bit of a design flaw I would suggest. Also, when booking a King size bed it would be a good idea to ask guests if they want a second bed in the room along with connecting rooms. I personally have no wish to have connecting rooms unless I am staying as a family. This door along with the front door were not particularly well sealed and you could here plenty of noise from outside and next door. The balcony is marketed as being intimate in yet has one chair and being a connecting room has nothing between you and your neighbours balcony. Hardly intimate. Based on the reviews I am sure this place is perfect for families however, there are better choices for couples elsewhere in Cairns.

If you rent a car, it is not recommended to book this hotel. There is a Jiachuan restaurant under the hotel. The taste is good, but the price is expensive. The spicy tofu is AUD 23. The most expensive spicy tofu ever.

very average hotel It was rated 4 Stars I more like half star I only gave it a one because it would not let me give it a half star The room was dirty the walls and the room ceilings had marks all over them the walls the same and the bathroom had MOULD every were the shower curtain was black on the bottom not hard to replace very noisy you can hear other guest above us moving furniture and talking the bedroom has double glass squares that if you look in you could see through them the sofa smelt like mold the whole hotel needs a massive upgrade or nocked down and rebuilt the pool is cold and needs repairs the Air cone was 20 years old and on the last night we had to be up by 4 for our 6am flight yet just after 9 there was a family of 7 in the pool with kids screaming and running amuck on the hotel balcony's the pool is closed at 9 yet they got in you could hear the yelling over the TV worst hotel i have stayed in. When we arrived the fella was sitting on his chair looking at google and not really worried about our group. The older lady was really good but that was it . Never stay again

1) It was a nightmare checking-in. I reached the hostel at 6:30pm and realized that there was no reception but to use Goki for checking-in. However, I received a notice from Goki that ”no reservation” after keying in my confirmation number. I got a shock and kept asking for help from strangers within the hostel. By the time I got it solved, it was like 8:30pm and I was starved to death. 2) Though Goki is an easy system but u need to bring your mobile everywhere you go even to the toilet eg shower (what happen if you forget to bring out the phone); there was a time my phone was almost out of battery (1% left) and I have to quickly charge it by borrowing charger from others. 3) There is no window in my room (single) and the air-con temperature is beyond my control 4) The reception area only opens till 2pm daily, after which you have to make call for any housekeeping services. It really pose inconveniences for first timer who wants to know about Cairns in terms of the directions, places of interests etc. 5) The location is excellent but I don't think I will recommend this hostel to my friends in future.

This hotel is only 10 a 10-minute walk to the city centre and the fantastic pubs and cafes on the Esplanade. If you want to do it in 2 minutes get one of the the electric scooters outside the reception area. The safe are welcoming and very friendly, making my 3-week stay a pleasure. The only downside was their restaurant is not open every night, but not a problem when you are that close to everything the city has to offer.

The location is dead centre cairns city, the 4 bed dorm is good for a group. The kitchen on level 4 is lovely, although some other quests do not clean up after themselves. The pool is lovely & you can get discounts on food and drink in the bar. The the aircon in the room cannot be controlled, we had to sleep in hoodies because it was so cold in the room. There is then NO aircon in the communal areas, making it incredibly uncomfortable to cook or relax. There is not clothes horse for drying clothes. The music that plays every night until 3am can we heard in every room in the hostel! One of the bar waitresses was very rude, pass-remarkable, made personal comments (weight/clothing) and poorly mannered in general.
