Amulet Hotel

A very nice and quiet hotel with historic feelings. Convenient location, just 5-10 minutes walk to historic center, 2 minutes walk to the four column Chor Minar. Receptionist is very helpful. Breakfast is special local foods. Very good experience. 旅店是古老伊斯兰学校，很有历史感，也很安静。离四柱清真寺很近，离大部分古迹也就5-10分钟，很方便。旅店接待员非常热情热心帮助。强烈推荐

1. 특히 한국인에게 추천! 아침식사에서 한국인이 친숙하게 느낄 수 있는 맛이 남. (부침개 같이 생긴 음식을 보고 부침개 같다고 생각했는데 정말로 부침개 맛이었음) 조식이 푸짐하고 과일도 많이 주고 잼이나 음료도 굳굳. 2. 매니저가 매우 친절+영어ok. 밤 늦게 체크인 했는데도 친절히 안내해 주고 차도 끓여 주었음. 다음날 체크아웃할 때 내가 캐리어를 들고 나가려고 하자, 혹시 관광하고 기차역이나 공항으로 갈 생각이라면 캐리어 들고 관광하기 힘드니까 자기가 맡아 주겠다고 했음. 3. 인테리어 멋지고 깨끗함. 화장실 물 잘 나옴. 이 호텔에 더 있고 싶었다....

We had such a great experience with Amulet hotel. The location is excellent and easy to find. The hotel itself is a historical site and living there is like living in history. Everything is so vintage and classic. The manager himself is such a fantastic person. He is very kind and helpful, speaking with us in such a comfortable manner and continuously showing us care throughout the stay. We really enjoyed the welcome tea when we checked in. We also had a midnight train catch to Khiva and the manager himself was so kind and allowed us to have a late checkout in the evening so that we can get refreshed and rest well before we head to train station in the late evening. The breakfast was such a blast with so many for two of us. We were totally blown away. Overall we truly enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to any of our friends who would visit Bukhara someday.

Enjoyed our stay here. Room is nicely decorated, neat & clean. Large & comfortable Bed. Bathroom is specious, provided hand washing liquid & shampoo. This traditional building is beautiful & well taken care of. Served good breakfast - bread, jam, butter, honey, cheese, rice porridge, potato samosa, baklava, apple, orange, yogurt, juice, coffee. Akmal is very polite & helpful. I recommend this hotel.

We stayed in Amulet hotel for 4 nights. Our room was 2/1 it was small room but after a few hours being there we felt very comfortable. It is a traditional madrasa building that is why we chose to stayed there. The hotel is located near a very busy road however we haven’t heard any noises from the road. The staff were very polite and friendly we barely saw them, however our room was cleaned always on time and breakfast was ready as soon as we sat dawn. Breakfast was excellent we enjoyed it a lot. My favourite was fried cheesecake and Uzbek porridge. The manager of the hotel was very helpful and polite. He was serving us our breakfast and tea in the afternoon with traditional sweets. We were looking forward to come back to Amulet hotel after walking around Bukhara. Highly recommended!

The Amulet hotel is one of the most charming hotels I’ve stayed in. A brick madarassa from the 19th century, it has a quiet and shaded courtyard in the center with the rooms all around. The rooms are a good size for the single and double rooms. The beds are comfortable and the A/C works. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast fantastic. E highly recommend this place.

We had a lovely stay at this little guest house in Bukhara. We arrived early, and were given some tea while they quickly prepared our room. Breakfast served outside was outstandingly good - they kept bringing delicious home-made food, fresh fruit, jams...we did not need lunch! The place is beautiful, calm and safe, but only few minutes walk away from the busy heart of Bukhara. Thoroughly recommend the large restaurant a few minutes walk away too.

Terrible value for money. Our rate was over $100 per night for three nights (you must pay in cash in local currency), but it was not worth it. Just a free minutes outside of the old city the location is very good. The hotel was originally built in the 19th century as a Madrasah, and has more recently was converted into an eight room hotel with quaint “cells” (aptly described on their web site). It is certainly unusual. Most of the rooms are twin size on the second floor up some old stairs, although I understand there is a three bed room on the ground floor. The wooden beds are interesting but watch out for the posts that jabbed me twice in the night. On the downside the service was shoddy, slow and unfriendly. Unlike the information on the web site they do not serve dinner or other food outside of the limited breakfast. The family who own it must be struggling as it seems like they’re trying to save every penny. Every item at the uncustom and slow breakfast (bread, cheese, jam and each day something else) was accounted for and unused food taken back and served to other tables. Customers in rooms had to ask for them to bring them toilet paper, and they tried charging extra for towels. Just not what you’d expect from a relatively expensive three star hotel. Don’t trust the positive reviews; there are much better in Bukhara.
