Guesthouse Maison de la Rose

We had a great couple of nights here over Easter The host was friendly and a provided a city guide and some recommendations of things to do / where to eat. The house is beautiful and our room was large and interestingly decorated. The old town is on your doorstep .

Amazing experience. Hanz greeted us upon our arrival with tips and none of hus suggestions disappointed

Hans was amazing..he met us and gave us a book about Bruges and a sheet with dinner recommendations, pointed out the best shops, where to get ice cream and chocolate. Had a map with all the items circled The apartment was amazing and no comfort was left out. Our family of 5 was quite happy.

The attic apartment was really perfect for our family of 5. It was spacious,clean, and very conveniently located. It was great to have enough room for our teenagers to move. Hans was very helpful and flexible during our stay. He recommended some great restaurants. The building was gorgeous and I loved all the antiques in the entryway.

Great host, a great location and a beautiful room.

The place is very close to the Market square and all sights. We travelled with the kids and we booked the loft and they loved it. Its an older building that is completely renovated and very comfortable. The host was very helpful and gracious. We had a great stay/

Our stay was wonderful. The host was helpful at all times, welcomed us kindly and offered all the information we needed. We recommend and would stay with them again.

We have heen in this hotel for 3 days in may. The room was clean and tidy, the host friendly. Unfortunately there was a lot of noise coming from the other rooms and the street. We made a reservation for a large double bed and we found 2 single beds, not ideal for a young couple (despite on booking the room is being liste d with a large double bed). I would recommend to ask for more info before reserving.

Expérience mitigée. Accueil ok mais service minimum. Recommendations de l'hôte pas très utiles car beaucoup d'adresses indiquées étaient fermées le 24 et/ou le 25 décembre et pendant les vacances, nous aurions attendu le petit plus qui nous aurait rendu service (marché de Noël et boutiques qui ferment le 24 décembre à partir de 16h30 etc, heureusement nous nous étions bien renseignées avant). Pas de valeur ajoutée ni d'implication de la part de l'hôte qui n'a d'ailleurs pas répondu à notre sollicitation par message écrit (problème TV avec Netflix qui n'a pas fonctionné pour cause de nouveau code à installer), chose qui aurait sans doute pu être vérifiée avant notre arrivée. Petit-déjeûner annulé par l'hôte la veille de notre arrivée pour raisons familiales impératives. Plus que deux mini-dosettes de lait pour le café dans la chambre auraient été appréciées. Emplacement parfait, très belle rue dans la partie historique du centre mais à l'écart des touristes, idéal. Facilement accessible en bus depuis la gare (directions que l'hôte pourrait ajouter à ses recommendations). Belle maison, belle et grande chambre conforme aux photos, pas insonorisé mais c'est souvent le cas dans une vraie maison (beaucoup de bruits de pas d'enfants au-dessus). Chauffage au minimum à notre arrivée. Salle de bain agréable, sol douche glissant qui peut être dangereux, débit de l'eau de la douche insuffisant, produits en quantité minimum (et pourtant nous sommes écolo et faisons attention).
