New Park Manor Hotel - A Luxury Family Hotel

Such a lovely stay and what a wonderful job they have done on the renovation! The staff were absolutely lovely, consistently from check in to the restaurants, bar and spa. Byron the GM is wonderful and truly makes you feel like a guest in a home away from home. The rooms are lovely with excellent amenities and are very comfortable. The food and drinks were excellent. We had dinner in The Stag and breakfast in The Vinery and both were brilliant. Really good food. The drinks were lovely and the barman very friendly, he put his own twist on some classic cocktails and told us about them so we could try them. I really enjoy things like this and feel it adds to the experience so I was very glad to have stopped by the bar for cocktails before dinner. The spa was lovely, the massage and facial excellent. Lovely grounds, lots of parking and easy to find my way around. Genuinely can't think of a complaint, everything was wonderful. Can't wait to go back.

We had a brilliant stay at this hotel (my husband, 2 year old and I). As a family with a toddler they really take the stress out of travelling. Everything accommodates you as a family - meals, play areas, cot/monitors/milk (and cookies!) etc. 2hrs of free childcare a day was a game changer, my husband and I actually got to spend time together in the adult only areas like the hot tubs/restaurant. The result is this is the first holiday as a family that we’ve actually felt relaxed. The staff were very helpful and the food was very good, the children’s menu also had varied selection. Only things to mention would be that the specials didn’t change over 4/5 days. Also felt a service charge everytime we had drinks was a bit much - but we didn’t want to dispute the fact the staff were helpful. We would visit again, and definitely another hotel in the chain as we thought the concept was just right for us.

Our first stay at New Park Manor. We were greeted warmly which made a great first impression. As our room was not available until 3pm we made the most of the spa. We found the staff in the spa very attentive and enjoyed the facilities on numerous occasions during our visit. Although we didn’t dine in the evening at the hotel we ate breakfast and lunch, finding both very enjoyable. We attended as a couple. The hotel had a family feel but this didn’t have a negative impact on our stay. Quite the opposite actually and feel that if we were to return we would bring our children. Our biggest disappointment with our stay was our room. We had booked a double room. It was in eves of the hotel and therefore a non standard shape. Impact being uncomfortable experience in the bathroom. The tea making facilities were also in an inconvenient space. We ended up moving the equipment to different part of the room. The room has a fridge, which is good, however we found a brown bag inside with half eaten pastry which hadn’t been cleared from previous guest. The hotel was set in beautiful surroundings within the new forest. We may well go back based on our overall positive experience but just need to ensure we have a different room.

Fantastic relaxing spa day with wonderful staff, great food/service and my hour long facial was the best I’ve ever had. The facilities were good too but just to point out that it is a family spa so expect children to be in the pools and around shouting.

I have just come away from the New Park Manor Hotel having visited for their festive Afternoon Tea. I was bought a voucher for my birthday and I will certainly be back. The food was delicious! Sandwiches, cakes and pastries were all freshly made and the presentation was beautifully done in the theme of Christmas. I have been to various hotels in the New Forest for Afternoon Tea and this was one of the best ones I’ve had. Nikki and the team were super welcoming and friendly.
