We enjoyed having L'Amiraute as our base during a week in Brest, for a mixture of business and pleasure. It is conveniently placed for the town and the university, and the ambience is very nice. The prospect of returning there at the end of every day was always pleasant. We found the mattress slightly on the firm side, but the scrambled eggs at breakfast were magnifique!

The hotel is a modern hotel, which is renovated or very recently, and offers a relaxing and relaxing stay. The area is quiet despite the first impression. The breakfast is well provided and especially mainly with products from the region, so it is good to note, of the real pressed orange juice, and of course Bretagne forces you will have the right to four quarters and crepes home.. very nice.. The location is very convenient, as it’s on the main street. The hotel is close to several bars and restaurant, and 2 minutes far from the telepherique. The staff is available any time of the day, rooms are of the right size (they just miss the minibar), the bed is comfortable and the breakfast is good with many kinds of food. The common areas in the hall are comfortable as well, with tables, nice sofas and games. One of the pictures I posted is the view from room 112.

The room was perfect for a stay, well equipped and quiet. Good bed. Near the city. Unfortunately, the smell of cigarette in the room was persistent,but we were given the opportunity to change the room. The hotel is perfect, laughterful and professional staff. Breakfast is very complete and extensive. The neighborhood and the hotel are quiet with free private parking. (But 1 only small bottle of water ”Cristaline” at the average cost of 0.18€ in large surface for 2 ?) In the end, Bon séjour...

The hotel didn't do downtown, I lived in the hotel lobby just in the decoration.

Ibis is a budget chain and the rooms aren't big or luxurious. But the bed is excellent, there are spare pillows, the shower is first-rate and (rarest of all) it has terrific lighting and a good work space -- hard to improve in the budget format, to be honest. The breakfast at this hotel was also much better than I remember from previous ibis stays, and well worth just under 11 euros for a great start to the day. The location is out of town -- but Brest is a town where the suburbs are more attractive than the centre. Free parking is welcome.
