We recently spent 3 nights in condo #205 at Trails End, rented through Summit Mountain Rentals. The positives are that the unit itself was very clean and had a cozy, log cabin feel to it due to the decor. It was a 1 bedroom condo with a full kitchen and small living room with a balcony that overlooked the parking lot and had a tiny glimpse of the mountain peaks over the trees. The balcony was pretty spacious. The condo complex is also located a VERY short drive to downtown or a fairly short downhill walk (uphill coming back), but there is also a bus stop right across the road too. The cons: The building itself is very dated and doesn't seem to be cleaned thoroughly very often. The very first afternoon we arrived, after we came back from dinner, we saw someone dripped something brown all the way through the lobby and to the elevators. When we left 3 days later, it had never been cleaned up. Also be aware that even though there are elevators in the building, there are about 7 stairs you must climb to get to the elevators or to get anywhere really right upon entering the building. There is a lift for wheelchair users only, so you have to lug your luggage up the stairs and even though there are a couple luggage carts at the top of the stairs, if you are not on the first floor, be warned that the small size and the sharp right angle of the elevators make it so that you cannot fit the luggage carts into the elevators, so you have to manually bring all your luggage to your unit. We were also disappointed that the advertised indoor hot tub was out of service and sounds like it's been out of service for a long while. The pool we were advertised is actually across the street at another complex, and even though we were given a key for it, weren't too excited to have to schlep all the way there and back especially while wet on chilly nights. A lot of the pictures advertised on the Summit Mtn. Rental page for this unit actually showed the complex across the street and not the building we were in, which was much more dated.
