Bridge Hotel Brandon

After a long day's walking, che checked into the Bridge. We had a friendly welcome. Room 3 was ours and it was nice. The bathroom, was wet room style and the shower was brilliant. The bathroom products were great. After a good nights sleep the breakfast was excellent. (We had our evening meal in the pub next door. Good food. Awful service.) Exactly what a long distance walker needed.

We visited our son & his family for our granddaughter’s 3rd birthday. We’ve never stayed in this area before so I checked this hotel on Tripadvisor reviews. The 1st impression when we arrived is that from the outside it lacked a bit of kerb appeal, but stepping inside was a different world. It is a warm, welcoming reception area. Abi introduced herself with a lovely smile & a friendly attitude. We got the key to room 5, and were immediately impressed with the cleanliness & size of the bedroom & en-suite shower. The view from our room included the river, which on a sunny day was beautiful. The hotel is doing some renovation to the quayside which will be outstanding when it’s finished. We had a good nights sleep in a firm and comfortable bed. The breakfast was included in the price & it was a very filling full English. The waitress asked if we needed any more tea, coffee etc, which I thought was very professional. This hotel has previously won 4 in a bed tv program award & I can understand why. I can very highly recommend the Bridge Hotel in Brandon for a stay if you’re in this part of England.

This is really a B&B rather than a hotel. The breakfast is excellent but a breakfast menu would be helpful when making choices. There was no hair dryer in room 5 (searched everywhere). As you walk into the bathroom of room 5 there is a glass section of the shower which for safety reasons should have some stickers on it.

I've stayed here several times over the last couple of months whilst on business in the local area - each stay has been spot on. Sylvia, Matt and the staff are fantastic - friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Some of the rooms have a river view - I tend to ask for room 1 when I can which is a family room but can be re-configured. As a military aircraft fanatic, the Bridge obviously has the additional draw of being a 10 minute drive from the viewing area at RAF (USAFE) Lakenheath. Close to the town centre, which has various eating establishments, and also handy for nice riverside walks when the weather is fine. Breakfast starts at 7 but 'Zoe' and her colleague in the kitchen are more than happy to provide an earlier one, or in my case a lovely bacon sandwich to take away with me. The rooms I've tried are all clean and have everything you'd need. I've already booked more stays over the coming months !

Stayed at The Bridge Hotel last night and had an amazing experience. I was greeted by Silvia who explained local facilities and upgraded my room without asking! The room is decorated lovely and the bathroom was very well equipped and modern. Perfectly quiet night sleep. Thanks a lot Matt and Silvia

Convenient location, rooms are comfortable, breakfast is good but there is a lot of road noise and noise from other rooms including inconsiderate guests chatting loudly well past midnight. The manageress Sylvia is excellent.

Spacious rooms, refreshing shower and tasty breakfast. Lovely views from the breakfast room over the river ouse, some rooms no view but you get what you pay for in the friendliness and helpful staff. The breakfast was delicious with fresh seasonal fruit, cereal and full english if required. Inly an overnight stay but worth a visit. Handy for nearby Mildenhall and Lakenheath.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Some nice developments in hand for summer months. Breakfast plentiful and cooked fresh. Bed comfy and a cosy room. No evening meal here but a decent pub right next door.

My friend and I booked the bridge hotel as we were doing some activities in the nearby Thetford forest. From the moment we arrived, chilly from the outside we were treated as 5* guests. We enquired about a hot chocolate and 2 delicious hot chocolates were delivered to our room within minutes. The room was super comfy with tea and coffee makers and everything you need for an over night stay. The bathroom was finished to a high quality with lovely toiletries that smelled amazing. The breakfast was the icing on the cake, beautifully presented and delicious. The fresh fruit available was excellent quality and plenty of variety. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again, thanks.
