La Maison Bord Eaux

Stayed here for 3 nights and was happy from the get go. The lady working on check-in was extremely helpful and had very good English. I was very happy with my room which had an extremely comfy bed, a desk and chair as well as two easy chairs for reading or drinking tea. The bathroom was lovely (separate room for toilet) with a lovely shower and towels and lovely to use Nuxe toiletries. The option (of which I availed) to not have fresh towels every day is offered to. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clear and the all the staff that I encountered were very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

A very nice little Hotel, the hotel & rooms are clean and well appointed, nicely designed/decorated, the air con is silent which was very nice, staff very friendly and helpful, good breakfast, for a city stay this hotel is recommended, it is a small, family hotel, limited service of course but has everything we needed, we were out all day, it is a good location, nice district, very quiet, good value for money

Very nice large rooms, very clean and recently updated. We stayed for one night upon our arrival in Bordeaux for our river cruise and another night after end of cruise. Both times we were greeted by a friendly and very accommodating front desk staff. We were able to store our luggage before our room was ready which allowed us free time to enjoy the beautiful city of Bordeaux. Upon our return to the hotel we were happy to find our luggage was already in our room. The front desk staff speak lovely English and will help you with dinner reservations and directions. Don’t skip the breakfast! It’s a delicious mixture of all the usual items including large cups of coffee. Today we enjoyed a delicious! apricot tart included with the breakfast. Yum! Located in a nice area with a beautiful garden for your breakfast and/or picnic. Will definitely stay here again when in Bordeaux. Thank you for a lovely visit!

We spent a total of five nights here during our visit to and from Bordeaux and couldn’t have been happier. We loved our room 203 - large and airy and bright and very spacious - lovely bathroom complete with bathrobes and nice toiletries and of course Nespresso coffee. The location was great - close to Tramline D and about a 10 minute walk from the centre like the Opera and the Tourist Office. The highlight for us was the staff - Isabel, Florie and Suzanne could not do enough for us - very helpful and very cheerful and friendly. And the breakfast buffet was superb - again very friendly staff and a great selection of hot and cold items and they would even prepare eggs to order if you didn’t want the fluffy scrambled eggs. When we return to the Bordeaux area we will make this our “home” from home.

La Maison Bordeaux is perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood within an easy walk to restaurants, shops, sightseeing, the historic district, the tram. The staff were personable and professional, the facilities were comfortable. My 5-day vacation here was perfect.

We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff was helpful and kind and our room was quite nice with a small balcony. The breakfast buffet was small but nice. And the courtyard was a wonderful spot to sit and have wine or just relax. I would recommend this small but lovely hotel.
