First of all, the transfer was really smooth. However, the downside was that it was so difficult to find the staff. We had no idea where to go and had to locate the person in charge of the transfer. Fortunately, other hotel staff were very helpful, which was a good thing. It was ridiculous. Another downside was the rocky and bumpy road leading to the hotel. The passage road should be improved as it was very disappointing and gave me a bad impression, not to mention a headache. Something definitely needs to be done about that passage road!
During pre-check-in, the front office (FO) staff, specifically a girl, showed no expressions and didn't even acknowledge our presence. She saw us standing and waiting, but she just stood there and pretended as if nothing was happening. It was unbelievable! The FO staff was not friendly at all. On the other hand, the concierge staff was very accommodating and greeted us with a smile. During check-in and check-out, they were incredibly friendly. When we were about to get our hotel cards, I noticed a long queue at the check-in counter. Since I only needed my key card, I approached the FO staff from another lane, which I believe was for members only. However, he was not friendly at all and made us wait for 5 minutes. He pretended as if there was no guest standing in front of him. I was speechless! He should not ignore guests like that.
Anyway, during our stay, we requested an iron, but there was none available. Throughout our entire trip, there was no iron! This meant I couldn't wear my other clothes, which was disappointing. Some of the guest service agents (GSC) were okay, but most of them didn't greet us and lacked standard customer service. When ending the call, the staff would just hang up, which was ridiculous and displayed bad service.
However, the concierge staff who assisted us during check-out was extremely helpful and nice. He even managed to take some nice photos of us. He mentioned that he was the one who assisted Bangs Garcia, an actress, which amazed me. The way he handled us as a couple was incredible. It was a phenomenal experience. Additionally, the FO staff who assisted us during check-out was really nice and surprisingly went above and beyond with a smile. She was above standard.
While the hotel looked very nice in the pictures on the website, the actual experience of staying there and encountering the awful attitudes of the staff made it far from nice. It left a bad impression of the hotel. Overall, it was a terrible experience with mostly negative encounters. I will definitely never go back to this hotel. It was a traumatizing stay and not an ideal place to stay.
