Rheinhotel Lilie

Great place with a great outlook, friendly staff, lots of breakfast variety. An every year visit for us, looking forward to next April when we will return. Recently added home made pizzas that went down very well with our party.

My family of 7 just finished a European vacation in which we stayed in 5 hotels. The Rheinhotel Lilie was by far our favorite. The staff is exceptional, the views are spectacular, the breakfast is delicious, and the location is top notch. I'll be back! Highly recommend.

A well positioned hotel to explore Boppard, the front of the hotel looks over the Rhine. Our room was in the upper level with a town view which was not bad, the room itself looked as if it had recently had a refurb and was clean and tidy. On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful giving advice on parking there is free parking just a ten minute walk along the river. There was a good selection at breakfast.

This is a lovely hotel right on the river. We were in a room on the top floor with a small balcony, which had a great view. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good. We found the beds to be a bit soft, but thats a personal preference thing. Parking is available along the river for 4euro a day and you get a ticket that allows free travel on the trains and buses locally for the duration of your stay.

Hotelkamer die wij hadden, was brandschoon en ruim genoeg. Wij hadden geen kamer met zicht op de Rijn, maar wij waren daar sowieso niet voor het uitzicht. Bedden waren zeker goed genoeg(voor ons) en kluis en huisbar ook aanwezig. Badkamer ook best ruim, maar natuurlijk was de douchecabine weer, zoals in heel veel hotels, ieniemienie. daar mag best wel wat meer ruimte voor gecreëerd worden. Ontbijt ruim voldoende, maar zoals in het de titel al staat, was het avondeten minder goed dan verwacht. Misschien dat de pizza's wél goed zijn, maar die eet ik niet in een Duits hotel restaurant, De "vleeskaart" beetje matig qua keuze, Maar goed, dat is mijn mening. Het personeel was in ieder geval heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Komen wij hier ooit terug? Denk het wel. Last van de kerkklokken? Wij niet.

Der Inhaber hat uns grundlos angebrüllt, lautstark beleidigt und spätabends aus dem Hotel geworfen. Wir werden dieses Hotel nie wieder betreten. Nachdem im Zimmer die Toilette verstopft war, wurden wir zunächst beschuldigt, selbst dafür verantwortlich zu sein. Obwohl das Zimmer unerträglich stank, war der Vorschlag des Inhabers, dennoch hier zu übernachten – die Dusche konnte nicht genutzt werden und als Ausweichtoilette sollte die Restauranttoilette im Keller (vier Etagen tiefer) dienen. Als wir wagten, diesen Vorschlag ganz sachlich als „nicht akzeptabel“ zu bezeichnen, wurde der Inhaber verbal ausfällig, beleidigte uns mehrfach und forderte uns auf (am späten Abend um 22.15 Uhr!), sein Hotel sofort zu verlassen. Er gab uns zu verstehen, dass er ausgebucht sei und auf unser Geld nicht angewiesen. Die Tourismusinformation Boppard haben wir über den Sachverhalt telefonisch und schriftlich informiert. Wir waren mehr als entsetzt über das rüde, völlig unmögliche Verhalten des Inhabers – so geht man mit Gästen keinesfalls um.
