Breeze Guest House

Found this guest house on Internet. I was travelling over to Liverpool for an evening game at Goodison Park. I was met at reception by Julie's mother Norma who was extremely helpful and gave me perfect directions to Goodison. I told her I had to leave early for airport next morning and she was disappointed they could not accommodate me for breakfast but I said it was far to early and not to worry. I stayed in room 4 which was a very spacious single room with all you needed TV. Wi fi etc no complaints and comfortable bed. When I returned from game there was a note(nice touch) for me saying taxi was booked for 630 and not 7 as I requested and just as well as I would have been struggling to make flight. All and all a lovely stay (pity I missed breakfast as it looked lovely on menu) Liam

We stayed at the Guest House for one night for a concert at Anfield. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. There is parking on site. We had a couple of rooms booked as we travelled as a group and the owner ensured we were on the same floor. The room was more spacious than expected and had facilities such as a fridge, water, extension lead etc. The bathroom came fully equipped. The owner organised a pre-booked taxi to bring us back to the guest house after the concert which was very helpful. Some of the group had breakfast which they said was lovely. Overall a good nights stay and will definitely keep the guest house in mind for any future stays.

A family bereavement meant that we had to book two nights accommodation at very short notice. I left a message for the proprietor and I was called back very quickly by Julie who was kindness itself and very flexible about checking in time. We were very happy with our room which was clean and comfortable. We particularly noted the generous supply of tea and coffee and a decent sized fridge. Julie provided a very tasty and freshly cooked breakfast. There was also a good selection of cereals, yoghurt and fruit. The filter coffee was of a high standard. On the second morning Julie treated us to home made bread which was a really nice touch and going above and beyond for us. On both mornings Julie chatted with us to make sure we were okay and we felt genuinely cared for. Thank you so much. We will recommend you.

Julie was very welcoming, friendly and happy to provide requested breakfast. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The guest house is convenient for public transport to Liverpool City Centre and other parts of the area. Will be pleased to stay again.

I came across Breeze Guest House while looking for a hotel for a long weekend stay in Liverpool for the Chinese New Year. I contacted Julie beforehand about the breakfast as I am gluten and lactose intolerant, and food is always a concern whenever I stay away, but she offered to buy me some free from food items so I could have breakfast. On arriving I was greeted with a very warm reception, and my bags were taken to my room. The room was excellent (I stayed in the single room). It had an excellent double bed and was immaculately clean with many refreshments, a large TV and a fridge. The toilet and shower were also excellent, and I was provided with lovely clean towels and toiletries (soap, shampoo etc). When I had breakfast the next morning, Julie checked the free from items with me for intolerances and made me some amazing porridge and toast. She also let me know which buses to get on which made the trip a lot easier, as there was a bus stop just down the road which takes you into the centre of Liverpool and is very regular and well priced. The service was really excellent and probably the best from any hotel I have stayed at. I really enjoyed my stay, and will definitely be back again soon.

I’m travelling round the UK attending games at all 92 football league grounds and needed somewhere to stay for a game at Anfield. A lovely stay and such a warm welcome from Julie & Peter, who could not have done any more. A comfy bed, lovely room and superb breakfast. I look forward to my next visit when I go to Everton’s new stadium. I can recommend to anyone.
