Very cozy and nice hotel. Personell was very helpfull and professional. Everything went well. Breakfast was exelent . We stayed 2 nights and went forward to Firenze. It was very quiet hotel in night and get very goog sleep at nigth. It was in city centre and everything was very close and reachable by foot.

There is nothing actually wrong with the hotel as it is clean and quiet and the staff is lovely, but the hotel is on a canal that was dry the entire time we were there, on a graffiti-laden narrow street, and is dark with a dated and tired decor. It was my least favorite of all the hotels we stayed in on our trip. The best part was the Lego town displayed in the basement.

Air conditioning not working and making a lot of noise. Breakfast so limited and the woman in charge of breakfast is so unpolite. Really disspointed.

The hotel is off the Main Street. The area was undesirable and next to a sex shop. We did not enjoy the stay. We were extremely uncomfortable. The breakfast was very small, coffee not good. Very disappointed. Would not recommend staying here.

Before I stayed at this fine hotel I didn't know there was a canal(s) in Bologna. The hotel is located towards the northern end of the old city and is a short 15 walk from the main railway station. We arrived by car in Bologna and returned our rental to a parking location near the railway station. Our room was very spacious with a separate bathroom. The room was spotless, serviced every day, and well heated. The hotel serves a good breakfast in the basement every morning and the canal can be viewed from the breakfast room. There is a 24 hour reception and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Pleasant hotel with friendly helpful staff. Our Ryanair plane was 3 hours late but I contacted hotel and they assured me all would be well. Checked in at 1:00am. Hotel was comfortable, friendly, breakfast was fine. The decor looked a bit "tired" but small worry in a good hotel. Location is good, not too far from station but also close to the centre

I recently visited bologna it is a stupendous city worth visiting ....excellent food ...great works of art...great vibe....I stayed at il canale hotel which was walking distance to the centre nice retro look well managed friendly staff highly recommended

an excellant hotel right in the heart of bologna. friendly and helpful staff who pointed me in the right direction to some of the many attractions bologna has to offer! my room was very comfortable,and a decent breakfast with fresh coffee to start the day! i only had 1 day in bologna but will be staying at Hotel iI Canale when i return to this amazing city

The staff was really great, amazing people that work there. We leave our bags for like 3 hours and leave to know the city. We talk about my fold smartphone too. It was a good experience that we have with the staff.
