Solea Coast Resort Panglao

Overall the stay was great. Great service for the most part and really nice. However, their service got worst as their duty went on. Their smile turned into frowns. They were still polite but I am going to assume it was their lengthy hours that cause the service to deteriorate. For example, I saw the same personnel for a few days straight until I saw a shift of personnel. In addition, I had a complaint about the free shuttle service but no manager to handle the issue. Matter fact I never saw a manager. The shuttle service to Alona was inefficient. They only had time for a drop off approximately every 4 hours and they will not pick up when they have a drop off. You had to wait or find another transportation. I mentioned it to them that it would be cost effective to have a pick up and drop off but since there were no managers they could not handle the issue. The place is fairly new so they have a few things to work out and fix. The gym needs more equipment and the kids facility needs to be developed. They definitely have potential to get better. I rate the entire stay 3.5 out of a 5. Good food, clean, and for the most part great service. Felt very safe and service was mostly available in most cases.

1, It is too far away from the scenic spot and the traffic is inconvenient. 2, There is a free shuttle bus, but only 3 trip a day, and sometimes the driver is not free. 3, Small swimming pool, It's not beautiful. it will be very crowded if too many people. 4, small beach only, not recommended to swim there, water not clean. 5, The breakfasts are simple, all served in a plate that is generally not worthy of the money paid. 6, The decoration of the room is miserable and shabby, not worth it!

Location was far from any other restaurants or shops. Beach was small and not cleaned. Not possible to swim or play in the water and was very shallow. Could not walk on the beach as it was a narrow lot and tourist boats blocked on each side. Nice small pool. Rooms were large and comfortable. Hot water is limited to certain times of the day. Breakfast was ok. Philippines food. Some days a Buffett and other days you get what they want to serve you. Bread was fresh but no toaster. Fruit was limited to red watermelon or yellow watermelon. Nice enough place for the price. Next time I will try a different place closer to town.n

The hotel itself is very beautiful it just sad that they have very limited parking on site although a few block about 300 meter the parking space is provided. the room is huge hallway, firm and comfortable bed, soft pillow. pool is warm and just clean and maintain, food are excellent selection although not allowed to take out food if your companion still sleeping you will miss the breakfast. staff is very helpful and accommodating. Recommended this hotel.

It was our first stay in Solea Panglao and it was really nice. Though the beach view was not so good but we still enjoy our stay there. The breakfast is great and our room is so nice that we can see the sunset view and the virgin island from our room. The service is good and room price is economical. It's really wortg it. We surely be back soon and stay again with them.

Close to Alona beach but far enough away to stay out of the hustle and bustle. Perfect for families but good for couples also. Be away that whilst this have various activities like table tennis and pool floaties etc, you will have to pay for the use.

The room was not clean and had hair balls everywhere. The resort is under construction, plywood everywhere. Only 5/6 sunbeds and we weren't able to get one for our entire stay. There is limited access to the beach. The rooftop bar was really good, food was nice and drinks were well made. The breakfast was okay. They offer one tour and the WiFi is spotty.

we went to panglao for our team building. the hotel itself is perfect, clean , aesthetic, wide spaces, excellent bfast. it’s just the location is a little way off center.
