I'm 29, working on my computer while I travel. I rented a double room for myself. Bed was so hard. And even though I wore earplugs, I could hear EVERYTHING. This was NOT a restful stay. Kitchen was small, and I avoided cooking in it because it felt grimy. Filtered water provided. Lots of cheap food stalls and restaurants nearby. Bathroom was cleaned (the housekeeping staff was very nice), but it lacked amenities such as a toilet seat in one stall and hooks to hang towels. Plus there was standing water in the shower all 3 days I stayed there. The hostel, like the neighborhood, is old and in need of repair. There was literally a hole in the ceiling of my bedroom. I could see the sky through it. Before I checked out, I reviewed Fatima Hostel on ***********, so when I went to check out and catch an early flight, the receptionist, Michelle, said, "I'm soooo sorry. The Wi-Fi signal is usually strong, but it's being repaired." Fine. I asked her if she was going to tell the people shouting and laughing at 6:30 AM in the common space (the noise traveled all the way to the 3rd floor) to be quiet, and she repeated," I'm sooo sorry." But like, tell them to be quiet? Disrespectful. Disgusting. Disappointing. Would not recommend.
