We enjoyed our stay at Pension Alpenfluh over Christmas and New Year’s. The service was friendly and directed personally by the family, who own the hotel. The hotel staff was attentive, remembered our preferences and went out of their way to help. Our family room was large, new, and well furnished. There was enough space for everyone to spread out and enjoy the evenings in the room together. There was enough storage space in the room to comfortably store all our luggage, clothes and ski equipment. We had a good view of the slopes from our room. There were many small thoughtful touches, for example, freshly baked cookies in the afternoon and the small celebrations the hotel organized on Christmas and New Year’s. The typical German / Austrian hotel buffet breakfast was well done. Dinner was served over several set courses. They were able to accommodate and offer alternatives to the courses. The service was efficient but not rushed. We enjoyed the company of the other guests during dinner. A nice mix of German, Austrian, French and Dutch families. The price relative to some of the other hotels on the main street in Lech more than compensated for the 5-minute walk up to the pension. With smaller children, it was not possible to ski-in or -out, but with our skies storied in the depot in Lech this wasn’t a large problem.

Wäre ein nette Pension, aber die Gastfreundschaft lässt zu wünschen übrig. Hätt mir mehr erwartet. Haben uns von dem Essen in dieser Pension mit einem Magen-Darm Virus angesteckt und keiner hat sich für die Umstände entschuldigt. Schade!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Alpenfluh und sind restlos begeistert. Von der Buchung (sehr professionnell, hilsbereit und freundlich) bis zur Abreise (hier wurde uns noch schnell und unkompliziert geholfen, da unser im Voraus gebuchtes Taxi kurzfristig die Reservierung stornierte) war alles einfach wunderbar. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll und die Betten herrlich. Normalerweise kann ich Halbpensionen nicht ausstehen ... im Alpenfluh habe ich meine Meinung grundlegend geändert. Auch die Abendessen waren während der ganzen Woche abwechslungsreich und köstlich. Danke Miri und den Wölfen für diesen gelungenen Aufenthalt.
