Northwoods Motel

My stay at the Northwoods Hotel in Blaine, Washington, was an experience I’ll always cherish. This hotel stands out not just for its comfort and elegance, but for the exceptional service that truly makes a difference. The staff at Northwoods Hotel are the epitome of hospitality. Their warmth and dedication made my visit special from the moment I arrived. They were always ready to assist, offering local insights and ensuring every need was met with a smile. Their integrity shone brightly when they found my forgotten passport and swiftly arranged its return to me, demonstrating their exceptional commitment to guest care. While the hotel's amenities were modest, the overall comfort and cleanliness of my stay were commendable. My room provided a peaceful retreat. I wholeheartedly endorse Northwoods Hotel for anyone visiting Blaine. The team’s unparalleled service and the sincere effort in safeguarding and returning my passport have truly set them apart. I pulled into the parking lot and was accosted by a man at my car who then proceeded to try to break into several rooms before slinking away into a shed structure in the parking lot. I called the front desk from my car and explained what happened and asked them to call the police. They came outside and looked around and then refused to refund my reservation. I stayed elsewhere and lost the money. Incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Do not recommend.

Very clean, quiet motel just a few moments from Downtown Blaine and the Peace Arch. Clean room and hot showers with friendly staff. Definitely recommend! Not a lot nearby but downtown is a quick walk away. Conveniently located near the I5 freeway.

Basic motel but everything was fine. Very clean, hot water, fridge in room. The location was great - just around the corner from the old downtown main *****. We are super picky about the room being clean, and this place passed the test. My only "con" is that the outside hallway is right in front of your door and window. So potentially you might have folks walking past your bedroom window. It was pretty quiet, though, so this wasn't a problem here.

I did not know what to expect for $140. Service was timely, room was clean, comfortable, beds & pillows good. Bathroom fine. Just stayed one night. Thought it was a good value. Close to Blaine. Not much food late at night.

Wanted place close to the border. Bathroom smells of urine. Looks clean but just smells. Needs upgrading. Not sure of the people around there or live there. Won’t stay there again. Should have looked at other places.
