Travelled here with 2 small grandchildren.(4&9) On first impression, the vestibule entrance looked clean, greeted by a young man who requested cash payment. Upon paying £70 in cash (which is not cheap for Blackpool mid week, room only) we were taken to this room. _ no curtains/ blinds. However did not need them, windows filthy. _bathroom, not cleaned at all, shower head on floor in puddle of water and filth on shower base, shower doors thick with soap scum. Water all over the floor. Sink dirty, full of grime & toothpaste, with dirty bar of soap on the side, mirror above filthy again with soap scum. Toilet not been cleaned, (although cleaner than the shower). No toilet roll, other than an empty tube . _ bedroom, just a duvet on double bed with no cover. Bin not emptied. Bedding on top bunk, full of stains, bunks not secure to the wall . radiator falling off the wall, not working. _ within 5 mins of being in the room, there were raised voices in the building, and some random guy walked in the room, even though the door was supposedly locked. With myself & 2 very distressed young children, we left. Found a lovely place, very clean, spacious room, very safe for just £55. Due to the distress, my grandchildren's welfare was paramount, so did not hang around to take photos. This place falsely advertises family friendly, with noise reduction between 8pm and 7am. With no large parties (why I chose it) however, once inside it is a different notice on the wall. (Which I did get a pic of, for access code, before entering the room) On a positive note, there was a tea tray in the room. I would definitely never let any child stay here, maybe that's why no pets are allowed, kennels are more comfortable.
