Super stay stayed for 5 days in November .The room was perfect for me no interruptions if you wanted anything you just had to ask and staff excellent ..Breakfast was great and good choice and the weekend was busy in the bar super entertainment . Everything you need is with in a 5 min walk from bars ,station ,tram stop, eateries .supermarket , chemist , Perfectly located and a great place to stay .

this has to be the worst hotel if you can call it that. filthy dirty, damp and stinks. the drinks are cheap rubbish placed in real bottles served by very rude staff and one with a baseball hat who's not the full shilling. the owner loves to walk into rooms when he feels like it or try his luck with customers on grindr. The old woman who serves breakfast puts you right off eating and bye the way its yesterdays cooked rubbish your eating. The entertainment is just awful and old man on a Sunday in dress playing absolute drivel. the bar is also in need of a good clean. beware they have sticky fingers too. WILL NEVER BE BACK and will let as many i know traveling to Blackpool in the future to give this place a wide berth.

Have stayed a few times. Firstly I would recommend booking direct by phone, prices are sometimes half that compared to listings on 3rd party sites. Rooms are good in terms of comfort, space and cleanliness, ensuite bathrooms are sometimes basic. The hotel includes a lively bar which is great, and it didn't interfere with my sleep. However if you are looking for a quiet place it's maybe not what you need. Included in the price is a good breakfast, with options ranging from fruit to a fry up. Overall I would say a good place to stay offering excellent value if booked direct.

This property is most definitely sub standard. I am always very reluctant to write a bad review about anywhere but if I can possibly prevent someone from choosing here over somewhere else then I’ve do them a favour. The property is old, worn and in need of a total refurbishment. It’s dirty….. there is no housekeeping done to the room throughout your stay. Beds aren’t made, no hoovering or dusting, en-suite is not cleaned, bins aren’t emptied. If the price point was perhaps 3 times cheaper then maybe these things could be overlooked but the price being charged for what’s being offered is scandalous. The only slight saving grace is the breakfast which is ok and the staff preparing and serving it are extremely nice.

Not stayed here on this occasion, but enjoyed the bar, food etc. Mardi Gras is a rarity in the sense that they charge budget prices but deliver a quality product. Whether it’s by accident, or by experience the owner works according to the correct business model. Singers/acts terrific, drinks cheap. Amazing full meal for £8.00, thanks Jayne who works hard in the kitchen. Result; they get the footfall; and have a staff who seem to enjoy their job; most of whom have a rapport with the punters. Sometimes I sense that some of the local competition is envious. Long live Mardi Gras.

We had a total of eight rooms booked and had a fantastic weekend. Can’t fault the venue. Very friendly and welcoming team. Great entertainment and cheap drinks. Would recommend the hotel and the bar. It was a touch noisy in the rooms but this added to making memories with friends. Thank you Team Mardi Gras

Very clean hotel, rooms are spacious, bed was very comfy. Entertainment to suit everyone's taste and in a great location. Breakfast very good as is food from Jane's kitchen. John, Donna, Michelle and Co make it feel like home from home, they're amazing, down to earth and as a solo traveller I have nevr felt so safe. Other guests are very welcoming too and a lot I chatted with are regular visitors to the Mardi Gras and I quickly made friends. Excellent stay would definitely stop here again and most definitely will ne in the jear future. if the opportunity arises as they book up fast.

Having stayed here a few times I returned again for two nights with my relative, we had the best time from start to finish, the owners John and Tony ,Donna and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming. It is just an amazing place to stay , immaculate decor , very clean , beds were very comfortable and room had everything you needed. Very accommodating.We will be returning again later in the year.

Have just had a 3 night stay here and have had a great time. Yes, the hotel rooms are a little tired and the bathroom is bijou but all very clean. The hospitality was 5* and the breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. We had Sunday lunch which was absolutely scrumptious. The bar prices were the best part…. We took advantage of the late opening hours! All in all, a brilliant stay and we will be returning again.
